Forgot about their schedule. I think they'll even out their record and be a wildcard.

 

I hope you're right, I like the Jets. Always have kind of lowkey rooted for them. I have some Jets apparel actually. They're a lot like the Mets. You just don't know what you're going to get.

@Wonderland to add, do you have a favorite team? Honestly didn't know you watched (or didn't remember you watched) NFL.

Christ that pass interference at the end of the Packers game was so soft. Such an embarrassing loss. Not because of who they lost to, but because of how they played.

 

Panthers score a lot of points, but also give up a lot.. It's starting to annoy me. And I'm still wondering how the seahawks couldn't score a TD on the rams..

 

Packers and Seahawks hyped up big time this off-season and they've both looked downright awful. Both of them could have been, if not should be, 0-2. I knew Nelson wasn't going to be a magical elixir to fix the vanilla offense. Because McCarthy is a garbage-tier strategist and an awful offensive playcaller.

As for the Seahawks, not sure what their glitch is. Offense looks completely inept without Lynch.

As for the Panthers, always going to be really difficult to answer back a SB appearance campaign. But as I look at the NFC, I see a set of teams with at least 1 major flaw. If they don't fix them, just hand the Patriots the trophy now.

 

Seahawks were doing pretty great near the end of last season without lynch. It's very weird.

 

Only just watched the pats v dolphins game as it was like 5 am my time live and I slept through fml. Weird game, JimmyG's trade value looking pretty decent if that's what they decide to do down the line though for sure.

Jimmy was a monster during the dolphins game. Thank God his injury is just a sprain.

 

A QB is only good as his support. This was evident when Brady was missing most of his offense last season and lost games he should've won. I have nothing against Jimmy, but there is no reason why any mid-level QB playing for the patriots should lose the next 4 games and the last 2 games with the support they have.

 

Carson Wentz. The next big thing ladies and gentlemen. Eagles offensive line is good, the defense is good, now it's all about putting the pieces together and having a quarterback with a high football IQ like Wentz to go out there and close games.

 

Agreed, look at Matt Cassel's first season with the Patriots as a good example. Team still went 11-5 or 10-6, can't remember exactly. Think 11-5 and barely missed playoffs.

He's very good and high football IQ, but if he doesn't tone down on taking hits, he'll be injured by Week 8.

I'm not sure how godo the Eagles actually are yet though, let's see what they do versus Pittsburgh.

Won a game by 27 with a dude throwing for 100 yards..utterly ridiculous.

Same deal with Denver and Osweiler. Osweiler is a shit qb and that 72M deal to Houston is a funny meme.But then again, the Houston Texans are nothing but a meme.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to claim all of New England's QBs are great since they're not. Brissett was serviceable but he's not a starter currently, just trying to trigger some people lol.

Very limited sample size but Garoppollo looks like a starter in this league though.

 

Maybe Jimmy. Though if Osweiler continues to be this bad and Wentz continues to look this good, teams may be more inclined to find QB's in the draft.

 

It's just the nature of the position. Because of the complexity of the position there's really only going to be so many good QBs out there. Schemes and coaches don't necessarily put players in the best positions to succeed also. While you have many cases of Osweiler, there's also Alex Smith and Carson Palmer who have revitalized their careers and are playing their best years now arguably on their new teams.

 

The Dolphins are so bad, so very bad.
