How To Tell If An Account Has Recoveries Set [No Password Needed Just Username]

Hi, in this guide you will learn how to tell whether or not an account has recoveries set on it. You will not need the account password just the account name! This is very usefull, because whenever I buy an account I always check to see if the account has recoveries on it. A seller could easily enough just make a new account and take a picture of it's login screen and tell you the account has no recoveries set.

How to Do it:

1) Get the Runescape Username

2) Go to www.runescape.com

3) Click on "Recover a Lost Password"

4) Enter the Username and Select "I Have Forgotten My Password"

5) Now if the recoveries are NOT set the recovery questions will be like this




6) Now if the recoveries ARE set the recovery questions will be like this

This shoould be stickies or somethign so no one will be likely to buy accounts with recoverys and it will be harder for people to scam.

Great guide, very useful to people buying accounts.

 

If people are looking to scam by having recovs on the account when they're actually are they will just put the questions as, Answer to recovery question 1, answer to recovery question 2 ect.

 

I seriously doubt someone woud wait 7 days to unset their recovery questions then reset them and wait 7 more days -.-
