What is Life?

Well, most likely a topic like this has already been created, but, I don't see anything, so...

Why do you think we were made/created? Was their some purpose? Perhaps in a religious situation, or just a normal cause?

Why are we here, on Earth today? What's the point of life?

 

There is no higher purpose for life. We're here on the off-chance that we are here. My only purpose in life is get the most out of it. Carpe Diem.

 

I agree with dpunk. My personal purpose is to bring the most happiness possible to myself and those I care about.

As to the grand, overall meaning of life, there is very probably none.

 

To help others and yourself.

 

Yeah. I think that life was made for us to complete the world, and to help one another, and to play our part in each other's lives.

I'm still a Christian, and I partially believe we where here, to express God too.

(Don't make this into a "DOES GOD EXIST?")

 

Like Dpunk, and the others, i agree that life is here only to enjoy it

I enjoy my life a whole lot

 

God created us (this mortal life) to help us achieve immortality as He has.
Our purpose is to do as God asks.

 

Purpose of life... MMORPG =\. Seriously though. I'm not really the religious type, but this is what I say... I believe we're just somewhat complex organisms created by science just like the world and the universe. However, how/why does science, earth, and the universe exist?? God?? Maybe...

FYI, "eat, drink, and be merry" isn't a purpose for life.
That answer is synonymous with "there is no purpose to life".

 

I believe it is a trial by god to seal your fate based on your actions in this world.

 

if you were meant to know the big reason u would know, but for the rest of it each person figures out their reason to live... for example u can see all these people have diffrent answers, we live, we die ... something new happens. We make the most out of what we can

we are ultimately here to make a difference in the ppl's lives around us, a positive purpose. life in itself is making different choices and actions thus creting a new future for us as well as the ppl affected by us. its the butterfly effect..

if its just to "enjoy it" dont you feel sorry for the suicidel/depreessed people in the world?
