Zune vs Ipod

Im getting a zune I prefer the Zune I hate itunes and i hate when peopel say itunes has a bigger library of music then the nuze store i say yeah well I download music free anyways idc plus zunes can play wmv a good format

The Ipod video is an mp4 and the Zune is an mp4 the zune can play higher bitrates

The zune looks better.

Zune plays video files without the 13 day conversion process to find out your 2 minute video still wont work unless you purchased it from itunes.

Im gonna have to go with a zune because Ive stuck by microsoft on alot of their products and the zune is much better than the ipod trust me on this one I own and ipod because I thought it would be nice and didnt have the money to purchase a zune and you cant play wmv formats and its better quality .

 

it took my friend 1 hour and 23 minutes to convert a 13 second video to his ipod and all he got was the first frame and it was horible quality you need to buy itunes videos if you want them on ipod zune can download from youtube or limewire and then put on zune

IPOD all the way. Apples simplicity has always been its greatest asset. Its all plug and play with apple and thats what i like about it. Never have i heard of a problem with any of apple's products mainly because apples perfects everything they make.

The Zune sucks. I've seen some of its capabilities, and it's horrific.

False. Your friend (or his computer) has a serious case of down syndrome. I can convert 30 minute episodes that are 1 GB each into 175 mb perfect quality mp4 files in 10-15 minutes. My computer is not especially fast either.

 

I dunno what your comp does but his is 2.8ghz (3 or 4 years old though) 512 ram and it took him that long to convert a eric kosten skateboarding video (oh it was 1 minute 13 seconds) not just 13 seconds It was a wmv file it was an old version of itunes and he only got first frame i doubt a slightly better comp would help that much. I'm not exagerating there.

Question why would you watch an episode of a show of a ipod 2 in inch screen

I would watch a show for the same reason you would watch a skateboard video or a movie. What kind of question is that?

By perfect mp4 I mean like good quality on the ipod screen. If you open the file in windows and stretch it, it will look like crap.

You would be amazed by the video quality of all of my shows, considering their filesizes.

 

Videos will ALWAYS look better on an iPod, as long as the actualy *quality* of the videos are the same. Zune has a bigger screen while keeping the same resolution, so everything is less crisp.

 

I would watch a video game trailer or a short clip of a video i would not watch a 1-3 hour movie on a 2 inch screen.

my friend watched the lord of the rings series on his zune i thought he was insane.

besides I only like to watch shows once in like a few months I hate repeats.

 

Yes but however the quality of mp4 is not nearly as good as wmv

besides id sacrifice quality for size like a 20inch lcd moniter 1280x1024 resolution or 17inch lcd moniter same resolution id prefer the bigger one

 

I would say Zune, but the Zune computer program slows all my shit. Playing Gears of War in my basement sucks when Zune is open.
