Hey Oh Jesus here applying for User Educator.

My 100 word's on why I think I should be a User educator.

Well I’ll start by saying how active I am on sythe, I get at least 9 hour's a day on sythe if not more. I answer any question to the best of my ability.
If I can't answer anyone's question I refer them to a person I personally think would be able to answer their question and help them out the most. I’m currently not a user educator as you can see, although I still try to help people the best I can. I’m frequently on IRC and sythe so anyone can confront me or add me to MSN to ask me a question, I will try to answer any question as long as it is a civil question and isn’t stupid.



Spybot – Search & Destroy

I will update when I find the DL link.

Spybot is a free program that removes adware (popups, advertising icons), spyware (monitoring your Internet usage), page hijacking (changing your home page) and other malicious problems.


It is recommended that you update Spybot from the Internet and scan your computer for problems every one to two weeks or when unusually behavior occurs.



To update from the Internet (you will need to connect to the Internet):

• Connect to the Internet.
• Double click on the Spybot icon on your desktop.
• Click on the Update button.

• Then click on the Search for Updates button.



• Tick each update that appears in the window.

• Then click the Download Updates button.




And you’re done Hope it helped. Oh Jesus.

To Scan for Problems (you do not need to connect to the Internet):

• If Spybot is not already running, double click on the Spybot icon on your desktop.
• Click on the Search and Destroy button.

• Click on the Check for Problems button to commence scan.


• When Spybot has finished checking, click Fix Selected Problems (Red entries represent spyware and similar threats, green entries represent usage tracks). Spybot will not harm any legitimate programs.

• When prompt appears asking to fix problems, click on Yes button.

• If Spybot cannot fix the problem now, it will offer to run again when the system restarts. This may be because the problem is loaded into the computers memory and cannot be terminated.
(Couldn't get a picture, it fixed all my problem's.)

Warning:
After using Spybot you may find that some programs, such as Kazaa or iMesh, have stopped working. This is because Spybot has removed the advertising content from theses programs. You can download and reinstall these programs but that is not recommended.

How do you update your AvG Anti-Virus?

Open it from your desktop or where ever you saved it.
Click the update tab.

Now it will start downloading updates. (If you haven't got the latest version (Like me)

Part (3)

How do you scan your computer with your AvG Anti-Virus?

Open it from your desktop or where ever you saved it.
Click on the Text Center tab.

Click Scan computer tab.

Now it should be scanning your computer.

When it has finished it will show you what/if anything was infected (UNSAFE).

How do you schedule scans?

Open it from your desktop or where ever you saved it.

Click Test Center.

Click on the schedule and click edit schedule.

Hey this is my easy to understand more detailed guide to installing/joining sythe's mIRC server.

Have you been wanting to get onto Sythe's IRC channel but never knew how?
I will attempt to educate you on how to download/install and use IRC.

The first thing you need to do is get an IRC client.
You can go that by going to www.mirc.com/get.html
And selecting your mirror (a mirror is where you live, and if it doesn't have where you live on there, just select somewhere close).

Once you have downloaded it, open it from where ever you chose to save it and click "Run"

Click the next to start the setup wizard as shown below.

Then click I Agree to the term's&condition's.

Click next again to choose install location.

If you have already had mIRC and the folder already exists (like me) it will show this. Just click yes.

Now you are ready to install mIRC click the install button.

Part (2) of the tutorial.

How to use mIRC to get to sythe's Channel.

When you first open mIRC this window will pop up, just click "Continue".

Now the detail's screen should pop up, fill in detail's as shown below.

(NOTE: If your nickname is already taken, you won’t be able to register it as your own.)

Now how to register, type in /nickserv register (your password here) (your email here).
(Also show's basic command's)

Now to identify the nickname you registed, type in /nickserv identify (your password here).
(NOTE: Won’t work with incorrect password.)

Now that you are registed/identified, you can now join sythe's irc server.
Type in the box, /server irc.sythe.org. This will connect you to the server.

Now that you are connected to the server, a box will pop up. In the box type #sythe and click join.

Congratulation’s you have joined sythe's mIRC server and now can talk with sythe member's.

Hey this is my fourth tutorial...Have you ever been annoyed by your toolbar grouping or not grouping your application's?
Well in this tutorial I’ll show you how to ungroup and group up task's on your toolbar.
Also I’ll show you how to show quick launch application's.

It's very simple, you can group task's the same way you ungroup them.

Right click your toolbar and click property’s.

Now click the box to group/ungroup your task's.

Now to show quick launch for your application's beside start.

Right click your toolbar and go to property’s again.

Now click the box to show/hide quick launch.

Ok and for my fifth tutorial I am going to show you how to defragment your computer.

First off go to Start > All Program's > Accessories > System Tool's > Disk Defragmenter.

Now click analyze.

Ok once it has finished analyzing, a window will appear saying view report or defragment. Click defragment.

Now it will be defragging. (Clearing file's and compacting them and such.)

Now your defragmentation is complete you can either view the report or just close. (Doesn't really matter.)

I am Positive that the one on De Fragmentation has been done before whether it was a guide or in someone's application. Not sure about 2 or 3 though.

Thank-you macroman how ever I posted a message a while back when I got pissed off with people pming me (A non user educator) and asking me question's they could ask a User ed. So unfortunately that could be used against me.

 

Your text is to large. If you think I'm going to read size 100 text, think again, try size 2, etc.

They can vote how they wish, if they don't supply a reason, then their vote is void.

As to what WoW_Sucks said, that is true, be careful. A lot of our User Educators are getting the talk of "maturity" and how they should act mature. Any more posts like that, and you will have problems.

You help people without the rank, you get the rank so people know who to go to for help... it's not a treat, it's a duty.
