[Food] Dairy Queen - Oreo Frappe + Flame Kickin' Burger Review

Mine came with jalapenos on it because people are confused.

No, this is not a Flamethrower Burger - it lacks a spicy sauce and instead has some sort of mayo. If you've ever been to DQ in Texas and DQ in every other state you'd know they're completely different for no dang reason.

We have burgers that use 1/3 lb patties, like this one, and different menu items, different prices, different promotions. Whatever.

Price Paid: $7.29 (cheaper per pound than most fast food burgers that use 1/4 lb patties)

This burger came with 2/3 lb of meat and 1/3 lb of grease. The buns quickly became thinner than the lettuce, and I was left with a greasy mess and what seemed like undercooked buns regardless. The bacon was half raw and half overcooked. It was hard to chew throughout but the burger itself omg so good. Buns were at least grilled, and the patties had a nice crisp to them as well.

Low 5/5 despite the negatives... I think I just got unlucky by going to DQ in the big city.

Weird looking bun. The drink looks good. How did you get it for free?

 

Yeah I'm quite sure it was undercooked, as well as flattened by years of abuse by thick meat.

Drink was free on September 6 for 3 hours... I was going to make this thread on said day to promote it. Rip.

Also, they forgot the chocolate sauce on mine.. everyone else got it but I didn't because of my whole no coffee shot dealio.

 

Did they promote this within the store? Truth be told I probably been to DQ's once in my life.

 

Via e-mail and junk. Everyone knew about and was taking advantage of the deal - which is rare. Usually not everyone is getting the free junk.

Same here... I rarely go there but after my half bad experience, I'd go again. It's up there with Whataburger, the taste of that burger.
