Atheists on Sythe

Well, I'm Christian but that's not the point here... Please don't start a religious debate, i just have a question...

Well why does Sythe have so many athiests/agnostic/all the other anti-God things? The forum is probably 75% atheist, it's crazy (comparing to the real life world)... It's just weird because most of the population is christian and i've never personally met an atheist, so what attracts atheists here?

 

Im agnostic right now even though I attend a private catholic highschool and I am catholic. But I dont think you should be saying stuff like what attracts them here probablly gonna get flamed or something.

 

I know, that's what i was worried about... "Because all smart people are on sythe and all smart people are atheist..." Lol i was just EXTREMELY curious... I just had to ask

 

Im an athiest. What attracts us you say? for me the fact that to believe in a religion you need faith. I have no Faith.

What makes you so certain that so many people are atheist/agnostic?

 

Because of all the polls and debates about your religion, there's usually like 5 christians and 20 atheists. And who's to say that YOUR percentage wasn't pulled out of your ass?

I never knew there was that many people on sythe but to stay on topic who cares if people are atheist or agnostic if they dont believe in a god then thats fine.

He said that the forum is probably 75% atheist/agnostic, but with so many people that haven't said their religion (which is most likely a big percentage) you can not have an even remotely correct percentage.

 

Im catholic but am slowly pulling away from catholicism and believing in evolution and the scientific point of view. That makes me agnostic right?

 

No...
Agnostic is when you believe that there is no possible way for us to know that there is a god/higher being, but you don't take out the possibility there is one, but atheists say god does not exist, and that there is no possibility of one.

 

I thought agnostic meant when you where puzzled about your religion and pulling away from it?
