Hi all, to begin my name is Jenna Robinson. I am currently in year 10 at my high school. I am Very interested in programing and am keen to help others with as much as i know. I am and have studied VB at school. I also know a little bit about C++. I am keen on helping others and get great joy out of it. Here are 5 guides that i have whipped up for my Application. I have spent about 3 weeks thinking of 5 guides to use in my application. I have spent a great deal of time making sure no-one else has posted these guides on sythe... Guide1 (How to stop Mozila firefox from saving any information)

Step1:

From the start menu select tools, options.


Step2:

Select Privacy, Settings


Step3:

Check all of the boxes (If you would like some data IE passwords saved then un-check the related box(s)


step4:

Return to the privacy page and check the box labeled 'Always clear my private data when i close firefox'


Click 'OK' and then you are set. Now firefox will not save any of your data.


Guide2 (How to utilize Timers in VB [VB 6.0])

Step1:

Once Visual Basic is opened you should find the timer button with the rest of them on the left hand side of the page (or where-ever you have moved it to)
The timer button looks like this.


Step2:

In this example i am making a label appear 1/10th of a second after the form loads. (timers can be used for nearly anything). When placing the timer(s) it doesn't matter as they are invisible once the program begins.


Step3:

To change the interval of the timer, you should change this setting.


Step4:

This is the code you should use. Internal documentation explains it.


Guide3 (How to stop people from deleting the IE browsing history
Explination: Do you know that someone amongst your family or friends is going to sites they shouldn't be? Or are they just deleting every piece of history there is. This will catch them in the act, and with hilarious results.

Step1: *Note, this works on vista as-well, just my computer is XP.

In the start menu, select the program 'run'


Step2:

Type 'gpedit.msc' and hit Enter


Step3:

Click 'local computer policy', 'computer configuration'


Step4:

Open the following tabs on the left:Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Internet Explorer, Internet Control Panel.


step5:

Click 'Disable the General page' and then select 'Enabled' Click apply then ok.


*Note. This takes away the right click option for deleting history from internet explorer. It still works for Mozilla Firefox and other browsers.

Guide4: How to make a blow dart with materials in your House.

Step1:

Materials:
One fairly large pin
One drinking straw
One Aglet (the plastic thing at the end of your shoe-lace)




Step2:

When cutting the Aglet off make sure to leave about 1-2 CM of lace at the end for the tail of the dart.



Step3:

Insert the pin through the middle of the aglet, with the pointy end at the end which would be the end of your shoe lace.
Have it so there is no pin showing out the back.
Once you have done this step your dart should look like this:




If you like, Fluff up the end of the tail to make it fit more firmly in the straw.

Step4:

Insert the Dart into the straw as so. Note: Some straws are to thin for this to work
Put your mouth over the end and blow.



This dart should pierce the skin from as far as 10 Meters away.

Note: If you are going to shoot this at your friends steralize it first and i suggest you aim no-where near there heads.
This dart will sting a little, but only goes about 1-2 mm into the skin.

 

Tip: Get rid of the bomb guide. Fast.

 

I didnt see a point in any of your guides, its common sense...and blow darts and fireballs? I wanna know where you learned that from..*goes to google.com*

I'll give ya 30 minutes to fix it up, after that I'll move it to help and requests for a 24 hour period in which you need to fix it up, before I delete it /move it back.

 

And a dart guide has been done before.

It's hardly a bomb guide, seeing as it doesn't generate an explosion, just a mere ball of flames. Still, if that's what a head user ed sees unacceptable then I guess change it..

There may be dart guides, not on sythe. I just googled then and found a few, But i assure you that i did not rip or copy any of them.

i don't like them at all. Nothing brilliant im sure everyone can do this with common sense.

 

Might aswell delete this application because he is banned for scamming with the ban message of

"Your a man and you scam"
