Braces

Oh my, how are braces?

I'm getting braces now. It's sort of late, I should've gotten them earlier. But anyway, to all you people who did get braces, or is in the process of braces/retainers, how does it feel, and what is it like?

I got 3 fucking teeth pulled out today, and they stuck like 5 needles on each one. Seriously....

 

um personal i dont have em but u shud get camo ones lol

i had braces for 2 years and i got them of the other week
you want to brush your teeth all the time afterwards...anyway
they hurt like hell when you get em on and every months when they tighten but after a year or more of having them they dont hurt at all

oh and you get a plate afterwards which in my opionion is worse than braces! you gota take it off whenever you eat clean it then clean your teeth to much work..

 

I had double plates. Pretty much two fucking huge things in your mouth that shove your upper jaw back behind your lower when you bite. They also widen the roof of your mouse by extending the width of the upper plate. That was for 1.5 years.

I then had Braces for 2.2 years. They're not as bad as plates. The fact that you can't take them off is acctualy better. When you're having lunch at school;
Stick away from all types of chocolate, cheezels, anything that will get on your fingers, will get more into your braces.
Always have a drink handy, and drink it last, after you finish your food, so you can wash your mouth out.
If they say to wear bands, fucking wear them!

 

^ lol when i had braces i could eat everything (except apples and carrots) i guess mine were way different
also i had to wear those tight ass red band rapt around my teeth so i couldnt talk properly than i had to have the blue conecting my jaws together...i didnt wear them surprisingly my orthodontist said my teeth were ready =S

My ex had braces, they looked damn sexy tbh.

Personally i've never had them, but gl with it.

Man, the dentist had to fucking take out 2 of my fucking teeth in the front, and they plan to BRACE THEM together. They're trying literally pull together 1.5CM of space, with the braces. I get mine on the twenty-eigth. Ahhh fuckz0r.

 

Like everyone else said, it hurts at the beginning etc etc and the pain goes away later.

Don't eat anything too soft or too hard.

 

I had them for 3 years. Worth it for sure. Now I wear a retainer at night. The first few days with braces is annoying.

 

I have had them for 2 years I am supposed to get them off in 6 weeks I think, they hurt for the first few days and you can't eat anything but pudding and soup lol.

 

I havnt gotten my braces yet but im going to have to get 9 teeth pulled before I do. Im getting them pulled in like 2 weeks

 

I just got my braces taken of 2 days ago.

Braces are really no problem except for the teeth pulling and when they tighten them. I personally never needed any teeth pulled but after your braces get tightened your teeth are going to be very sore. It's suggested that you stick to soft foods/soup. Sometimes your braces will cut your gums which gets very irritating. You can ask your orthodontist for some wax or gel to avoid the pain. Lastley keep them clean. You don't want big peices of food stuck inbetween them, it doesn't impress the ladys.

I used to wear braces, I hated them! You'll get over it soon. I dunno if it was just me but I talked a little funny for a bit T.T

& it hurt for a while but it eventually stopped.
but I never knew why I got them, my teeth were just fine >.>
