I like the idea of changing the announcement text to red or orange so its the first thing that stands out

 

I originally liked the idea of a mass PM, however I can imagine some instances where this wouldnt be effective. Say a user logs in only once or twice to do business with, say, Bogla. This user receives a PM (at this point several weeks old and since resolved) that one/all of Bogla's skypes are compromised. This user then refrains from using Bogla, losing him business. Will an additional PM need to be sent out whenever a hacking has been resolved? I don't see this being very practical

 

Mass PM, alert, something please. A header announcement isn't going to get the job done effectively.

 

Logging in once or twice the PM would be the only thing that might grab their attention lol? Anything done off-site entirely we can't really combat...
