Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

I've been seeing so many avatars of Rem lately (including sythe) and was wondering how many people watch this anime. I initially didn't enjoy it that much at the start but as I watched more episodes it started getting really good. I would give this a 7.5/10. What does everyone else think of this anime?

7/10, dwell too much on a scenario before the OP reaches the next 'checkpoint' tbh, nontheless its a pretty good anime.

 

Episode 15 gave me chills, solid 9/10 for me, although season is over in 2 episodes they did a crazy ending this week..

Preordered every figurine so far. I'm sick..

it's the best anime of the season, or of the year i'd call it, it has a lot of appealing to it, such as seeing a main character not OVERLY OP (kirito, eren, etc), has a great plot, and the art work is beautiful. Overall it's a 9/10 anime to me, and one of the best i've seen so far, and unique to its kind. When we see a player who transports into another world, we see that they become OVERLY OP ASF, but again, we see suburu weak asf here with such an ability that requires such a high threshold to achieve, its sickening to see it. We also see different sides of him, and how he is actually human. I'd recommend konosuba if you highly enjoy this anime, they're very similar in aspects, however its more comedy-like. I'd give a bigger response, but typing this got me bored af.

imo there was way too many episodes of Subaru getting fucked over and over again and that made the anime feel extremely slow during those episodes and also very repetitive which made me enjoy the show less (a whole month of expecting the same outcome in the end). Finally its progressing and i'm enjoying it again!

 

thats the point of the story, he's suppose to be getting fucked over, he only has that ONE ability that helps him really, and his ability is suppose to be repetitive, he's suppose to find the right path to make it better/fix it. However the last few episodes, he hasn't died at all, so when you think about it, he lived about 6 episodes maybe recently, Out of 25. but ep 23 was something else, made it a lot better.

 

I think that part was just poorly done. Take steins gate as an example, its pretty much the same concept (repeating over and over again) but every episode was way more interesting but for Re:zero there was many moments where I was just thinking "get to the point already".

 

From the description it sounds like an interesting anime. Added it to my plan to watch list whenever I have time for it

 

I thoroughly enjoy this anime. It took me up until about the 16th or so episode to start liking it again and I'm hooked especially with the last 2-3 episodes.

I felt the same way but it gets better trust me, watch a few more eps!

 

Alright just watched the last episode and the ending felt really rushed. There a still so many unexplained questions so hopefully there will be a season 2. I think the anime was good but it didn't live up to its expectations (considering its popularity).

I didn't mind it, It was an ok show but it really was overhyped imo. I wouldn't expect a season 2 anytime soon either.

 

The show followed the novel pretty well. The ending isn't really the ending since there will be additional episodes... There was supposed to be a cliffhanger but they didn't add it for some reason.

Knowing what happens according to the novel they did a great job. I personally think they ended it this way and not with the cliffhanger just in case they didn't get renewed for another season.

The cliffhanger is that rem and crusch's envoy get attacked by two of the archbishops and the entire envoy and crusch are killed. Rem gets her existence deleted by one of the archbishops (just like the white whale and it turns out the archbishops created the white whale) and only Subaru can remember her. At the end of the episode 25 conversation they removed a portion of the conversation, Subaru asks Emilia a question about Rem and Emilia responds with "Who's Rem?" and thats how its supposed to end (In the novel anyway)

Its up there with No Game No Life . I'd give it a 9/10 , and yeah Rem is the best waifu lol. Really hope there is a second season to it,

 

The anime is decent. The story is pretty shit if we're being honest. Lack of development revolving the main character bugs me, specifically the characters use of magic. It's basically a slice of life anime (you can achieve this by not having so much power etc).

 

i would give it a 8/10. i personally really enjoyed it and watched the first 10 episode the day i found out about it.
