First Pixel

well since my usernames MegaMan and all i decided to make a megaman pixel sig.
i havnt exactly finished im stuck on the border and im not sure if the speed lines are in the correct places
here it is:

EDIT: also i DID have a reference for the speed lines i was kinda stuck on them so theyre not entirly made by me

yeah it is my first pixel
well nearly my first i started working on an rs pixel but i couldnt be stuffed finishing it so i just started this one

 

my tip is make it MUCH smaller.. see your in pixels now bro.. you gota make your stuff real small. for instance.. when i make a 400x110 pixel signature (my favorite size. yours may be different) I first zoom in 300% and make the outline.. yes... I draw the outline at 300%.. when i actually start to shade im zoomed in to about 600-900%also it looks like your drawing with a very big pencil.. make sure your pencil is set on 1 pixel when you draw your outline.. the big bulky outline on this makes it an eye sore.. not bad for a first pixel though

i purposlly made the outline of megaman huge i wanted it to look old school that was the look i was going for
ill keep ur advice in mind though
