    Making A New IP Adress

Hi. I recently downloaded an autofighter hoping to quickly train a pure. It went out clean for a virus scan so I was very excited. I don't know much about Botting so I read the Updates on RuneScape. And found out that they IP ban.

I heard somewhere that you can change your IP adress. I tried the only way I thought might work, I switched off my D-Link and turned it back on, only to know avail.

Does anyone know of a way to change/renew my IP adress?

    Thanks

    Try using a proxy.

    proxy-servers.org has lots of them.

Cycle your modem. Google is your friend. The power is yours.

For powercycling your modem, just unplug the power for like 5 minutes or somthing, just thought id add that. Dont unplug it and quickly plug it back in.

    Google will tell you more.

Either call your ISP and ask them to change it.

Or go to the Command thingymagiggy and type ipconfig /release. Wait five minutes. Type ipconfig /renew.

    Hope I helped. :)

if you unplug your modem you only need to do it for 20-30 seconds and it would help if you told us your network setup (ie you go through a router then modem then internet)

Just call your ISP and tell them to switch it for you.

You could use a program called TOR which hides your IP address, not a soloution just a way around the problem.
