R2Pleasent is extremely active in locking bad threads and banning people thatare deserving of it. DarkSpark I havn't seen much of in awhile. Ughster isn't as active as some but he does alot with SytheMills as well.

Behind the scenes work as far as sectional mods means locking threads, giving infractions for the insane amount of bumping and multiple posting in that forum, banning people using proxies (requesting a global to do it for you), etc.

Note, there are 5 market mods (total) and 100+ people (at least) viewing that forum always. They won't catch everybody but I'd say at least half of them are doing a damn good job.

Personally, I think the guy should just be given a "trade with caution" symbol. A perm-ban over a bad joke is a little harsh. But the moderators have spoken, and that is that

Ok well if you look in the market you'll see that the only locked threads on there are the stickies.

Second a lot of threads are filled with spamming flaming and the threads don't get locked.

 

Report those threads then. Mods don't have time to go through every single thread.
