[TUT] reduce lagging on online games

This tut teaches you to improve your experience on online games.

    - Reboot your computer before you start playing, if your computer has been running for several days this is needed!

    - Close all your open windows, which are visible in the Taskbar.

    - put off all anti-viruses, firewalls and spyware scanners.

    - If you are using an external application and not playing your game Firefox or IE explorder, right click your task-bar, press “Task Manager” and go to the “processes” tab. Click on “Firefox.exe” and hit the button labeled “End Process“, and do the same with “iexplore.exe“.

    - Unplug all the nonessential items out of your USB ports, like Bluetooth Dongle, webcam

    - When your game is open, go to the Task Manager again and end the process called “Explorer.exe“.

Note: If you want to start “explorer.exe” again after your game is over, press CTRL+Alt+Delete, press “Task Manager“, click on “New Task…“, type in “Explorer.exe” and hit enter.

I hope this will help a bit :D

Nice, but if you do this:
CTRL + Alt + Del, go to Processes, look for iexplore.exe in the list, right click, and then set priority to 'Higher then normal'

(Translated the 'Higher then normal' from Dutch, it could have a different name, but its something like that ;) )

Sorry, the way I explained it is good for browser games :p Your way is good for CSS, WoW, Guild Wars, LineAge, more ... :D
So its a pretty good tutorial ;) I'd give it a 7/10 because of the lay-out, that could improve a little :p

Btw, city is Buggenhout, under Gent.

Sorry for double post, posted in wrong tread. The tut I made opened unlimited outlooks on your pc when you enter a site.

EDIT: to much trouble with it. Fouis and WoW tried it and they flipped. Removed because I don't want others to get their PC flipped aswell.

I would only suggest doing this temporarily when you need it. Some sites require javascript to work properly.

I merged your three tutorials, if you wish, post them all on the first post, and I'll edit the title to whatever you want.

Welcome to my second (was my third but I had to remove it) tutorial. This tut will learn you how to enable right clicking on sites that disable it.

My firefox is in Dutch so the pics may look an bit odd.

    1. Click on “Tools” after that click “Options“.

    2. Click on the “Content” tab with the “Earth” icon.

    3. Un-tick the “Enable Javascript“
    [IMG]

    4. Click “OK“.

    5. Refresh the page you want to right click on. It should be working now.

Try it on this site made by lilfuzzyrat http://lilfuzzyrat.fhost.org/norightclick.html

Credits to lilfuzzyrat for making site where right click is enabled!

If you found this interesting, please post here.
Any ideas for my next tut? plz pm me for it!

For online games you can also set a higher priority on your browser in the task managing.

I couldn't but disagree with this, you could always try dropping their priority, but never put them off.
