Zerker or Rune Pure?

Can a rune pure be 45 def?

or is it called a zerker pure when it hits 45....

I don't know why so many noobs become zerker pures, rune pures not only hit higher, but can use painted rune helms so they don't lose extra money when they die

Zerker helm is only 3+ str bonus, but you need 5 defence levels (1 combat level)

In that 1 combat level you could get 4 str levels, and im sure if you compare that in a calculator 4 str levels is by far superior to a +3 str bonus.

 

I totally agree.. Personally I like 1 def better, since I can be lvl73 with 99 str and hit 30s through armor

 

Tbh, 1 def pures are far to easy to k0. Also when you kill them all you get is some monk robes and a dds (wow) unless ofcourse your lucky enough to smite a free whip.

 

On the other hand, when you are 1 defence you dont lose much, like you said

i wud personally do intiate pure but if u want to know betweent them definatly rune pure

 

Upsides of rune pure:

* Can be used as a main
* Has defence so dies less
* Can get better items

Downsides

* Lose alot more when die
* Lose whips way more due to no prayer bonus
* Won't get into Fatality (Fi owns )
* Will hit lower than a 1 def or 20 def pure
* Requires WAY more work

I've had experiences of pking as a rune pures, and initiate pure and a proselyte pure. I'd say the initiate pure was alot better, got alot more whip pks and lost minimum items.
