Club.Live.com: Real? Sting? Going to be fixed? Speculate.

Ok, we've been having this discussion in IRC a little bit, so I figured I post here and see what you non-ircers think.

By now, most of you know about club.live.com, and how easy it is to auto on there and get free st00f. People who have autoed HAVE received stuff. I don't know of anyone that's been contacted by live.com and had charges pressed against them.

Personally, I think this REAKS of a sting. A quote from their rules:

Now, granted, they are making lots of money from this. Other people are also making a lot of money from this (selling the 360's, vistas, and other items on ebay). I think they're recording anyone who orders stuff's IPs, and that once they've amassed a certain number of IP's, all of you fruitcups are goin down for fraud for 1-5, depending on good behavior. But anyways, here's the options:

    1. This is totally legit. Free st00fs. They don't care about you autoing, because they're making a shitload off of it. Somewhere down the line, they might implement some measures that make autoing a little harder, but that's debateable.

    2. It's a sting. They're recording your IP's in the hopes that in rounding up a bunch of people cheating to get money, they'll round up a bunch of torrenters in the process (the Motion Picture Association of America is suing torrentspy.com). It's only a matter of time before they make a huge bust.

    3. It's legit right now, but the people paying for their ads to come up will evantually either force live.com out of business or make them implement strict anti-auto measures. This seems the most likely option to me.

There Must Be Thousands Of Autoers. Thousands Of Lawsuits? As Said They Are Making Money OffThis So I Dont Think They Will Give A Shit About The Autoers.
