McGregor/Diaz

Anyone end up watching the fight?
Do you believe that McGregor actually won?
Are you hoping for a trilogy with the two of them?

 

100% believed McGregor won that. Can't wait for the trilogy too, but neither can Dana white, Nate Diaz or Conor McGregor considering the huge payout they are getting when it does happen again.

 

I again think Diaz should have gotten the win, but then again he would have been 2-0 and 1-1 sounds way better and is guaranteed to be an even higher paid fight.

 

So I just read today that Dana White Says McGregor has to drop down and fight Aldo to keep his belt... I think this is BS because he knocked Aldo out in 13 seconds last December when they fought...

 

Has nothing to do with defending a particular weight classes belt.

Diaz should of won imo, I'm sure it was swayed in MacGregors favor so a trilogy would be even more hyped since he was shamed last time.

 

If McGregor doesn't fight Aldo, Aldo then gets McGregor's belt. Yeah, that is not right when McGregor destroyed Aldo.

 

My comment was about the WEIGHT class. Yeah, he needs to drop down to defend that belt. If you want to fuck around in multiple weight classes you have to play the game. Who is to say Aldo doesnt whip his ass this go 'round anyways?

 

All Valid Points from everyone. In my opinion this was one of the closest fights i have seen scoring wise, Yes Mcgregor won the first two rounds hand down imo , but the next two rounds where all diaz. That being said there has too be a trequil. (Not sure if that's a word but sounded cool.)

 

Mcgregor won 3-2, people giving Diaz round 2 cause he came on the last minute of that round, but mcgregor clearly won the first 4 minutes of that round.. Not only that mcgregor scored 3 knockdowns which was huge. As far as the trilogy it will only happen at 155 and mcgregor will only be better and more explosive at 155 just my opinion

 

Yeah couldn't agree more but the problem is is that unlike mcgregor , diaz is to scared about his image to drop down as honestly lets face it connor would destroy him.
