    Not exactly in response to your thread, but an interesting method of getting things done (at least for me and based on what I have read) is turning it into a habit. Working on specific things is only really draining until it becomes a habit and for me this relates to my foreign language study.

    As for good and bad habits, not entirely sure and may edit this post once I think of some.

    I don't know man. I have a lot of bad habits. Been trying to stop chewing my finger nails forever and I constantly end up doing it when I'm not paying attention. I've tried various different methods to stop and I just cannot seem to get any to work. This website is also probably a bad habit of mine. I used to spend waaay too much time browsing here while in school for procrastinational purposes. Not sure if it hurt my grades but sure as God's got sandles it didn't help them. Infact, I still spend too much time here while I could at least be doing something productive on the web or ideally in real life.

    I guess I'd say my best habit I've gotten into is saving money. Anything I'm about to purchase I always think: do I really need this? The answer is more often than not "no" and I end up not buying shit I didn't need and money stays in my account, which let me tell you: it's a great fuckin' feeling.

    Kindness is never bad! My best habit is my morning routine. My worst habit lies in consistency :/.

    That sounds like anxiety. I would recommend mindful meditation, to help you cope with overwhelming thoughts.

    I would often distract myself from thinking by doing something mundane, like browsing Sythe. It was easy, and became automatic. Especially when I was bored. Awareness of this behavior, coupled with a desire to improve quality of life, makes it easy to avoid repeatedly falling back into the habit. Get in touch with your daily purpose (see my Something For All thread), make some 3 year goals, and assemble your ideal day (details on how to do so will be in a later thread).

    No of course kindness isn't a bad thing. I mean it can become bad in the circumstances where it is abused. When you're taken advantaged of because of being too kind or nice or even helpful. In those situations always being kind isn't the best of habits to have.

    I can't think of any real good habits I maintain. In the past it would have been my music.

    Bad habits I have are that I'm a tad impulsive, I'll get myself into unsavory situations at times because I jump headlong into things.
    I'm getting better at holding back but it can be difficult.

    I think you can still be kind, and not be a target for manipulation or extortion. Just because others abuse your kindness, doesn't mean that you're in the wrong. It simply means that they're the type of people to do that. You are not responsible for the behavior of others. If you choose to feel wronged by their actions, then that's you choosing how to feel based on their behavior.

    Stay nice. We need nice people.

    Best: I help lost/stray dogs. (I clean pools and drive constantly all over. You wouldnt believe how many dogs I've fucking rescued.)

    I tend to feed the trolls, have done it for years. Although can also be a good troll. Sarcasm comes with it.

    Worst habit: timekeeping, I'm virtually almost late to everything I arrange, Im never late for work but with family, and friends and anything that's been planned I'll be late to, my friends get upset with me a lot over this.

    Best habits: my diet and cleanliness,
    I have a rather strict diet, for health reasons and I've just grown to love it. back when I used to freerun I started then and I haven't looked back, I take vitamin supplements every day. Its extremely rare I have anything unhealthy.

    Just out of curiosity, how do you help them? For the lost dogs I assume you find the owners, but what about the stray dogs? Do you adopt them then give them away, send them to a shelter, feed them, or what? Just curious :p
