Starting a pure

I don't play Runescape often, even though I do enjoy the game. I never know what to do. I have an account around level 94 I think but I haven't been playing on it because I'm just bored of it and would rather level up a pure. I have no idea where I want to go with it. I haven't PKed in forever, but I might once I get this pure to where I want it to be.

I'm just here because I want to know what you guys do when you make pures, and what you think of my game plan. Keep in mind I'm not training it to be the exactly the ideal pure, I just want to train it casually and see where it takes me. I am not going for cost effective training methods, I want to get the skills as high as possible, as soon as possible.

My Game Plan so far

1. Fresh off of tutorial island, I usually get some dragon bones, go to Yanille, find an altar and go right to 43 prayer (makes most quests easier, helps with cannon.)

2. Do Dwarf Cannon quest.

3. Get cannon and some gear w/ some pray pots and go to a spot to train range while using prot. melee, can get 1-50 range in under an hour so it really helps. (I don't know how long I should stay here for.)

4. Once I get to around 70 range or so (?), finish with the cannon and go to train magic. Usually I use wind strike to level 3, then go to the monk or whatever in Varrock castle and splash confuse to level 19, and then confuse to 55 and then alch to whatever. I don't know if I should stick to this method or find another method that would give me some hitpoints or what.

5. At level 75 magic, get trident and then start questing. I usually do Waterfall before I do anything on the account, but I wanted to try something different. After I do Waterfall, I usually do Tree Gnome Village, then Fight Arena, and then Witch's House only sometimes.

^ That is usually all I get done before I have to start the skilling, my least favorite part. This is where I usually go downhill because I literally cannot train agility as it's my least favorite skill in the game.

My hopes with this post is for you guys to review my plan and tell me what I can change and whatnot for the best plan. Any tips/advice would be amazing because I don't know much about the game. If you guys could also tell me the best path to go once all of those steps are complete that would be great. My game plan after that is pretty much just chin/burst range/magic really until max and then find what to do with strength.

levels & quests

When I made my mauler I just googled a gmauler quest list and found a good one on zybez. I trained in NMZ and aimed to seperate my days out by doing a few quests, back to training, skill so I don't get bored

 

you're banned and everything but I'll answer anyway. I already know which quests I should do, I just don't know the best way to go about training and skilling and such.

 

This is what I usually do to get started:

1) finish tutorial island.

2) Have my main character trade over the supplies to complete these quests: Cooks assistant, Imp Catcher, Witches potion.

This means you'll be about 11-12 magic (can't remember exactly)

Then from 12 magic, get the supplies to rush the attack quests: Vampire Slayer, The Grand Tree, Tree Gnome Village, Fight arena, death plateau and waterfall quest.

at this point you'll be around 45 attack, 30 strength, 30 agility (might be less)

From here you can agility pot to beat Horror from the deep

Then usually I aim to do lost city, then the prayer quests and Ava's, MM and then get the pure armour like Varrock Armour 1, Ardy Cloak 1.

Then finally I start working on Mith gloves and try to knock it out asap

 

Thank you for this. Although it is misleading because you said at this point you'll be 30 agility, yet only one of those gives you agility exp.

I'll be sure to follow that order after I finish with ranged training, and then I'll do Tourist Trap so I can be around ~32 agility.

 

I did caveat it saying I wasn't sure.

Also I forgot to mention that when you're doing death plateau, you can do witches house and druidic ritual without going to and extra effort.

you could do this: get 10 fishing then do Dorics quest -> goblin diplomacy -> witches potion -> druidic ritual -> death plataeu -> start fishing contest -> do dwarf cannon -> finish fishing contest.

That way you've knocked out a lot of the RFD sub quests and you're contained in one area so you're quite efficient.

 

The first thing i generally do off of tut island is do waterfall quest for the 30 atk/str and then i go through and do the other remaining attack quests as followed, Grand tree, Tree gnome village, fight arena, vampire slayer, lost city. After doing that i move to prayer and start those quests, Restless ghost, earnest the chicken, priest in peril.

By that time you're usually 44 attack/30 str/1 def/ 1 range/19 prayer/ 30 ish mage.
