SCAR help

im totally new to scar. when i download an auto bot, it appears in notepad. is this supposed to happen? if it is, i insert the script but nothing happens when i press run. help. please!

 

Hmmm, make sure you fill in the setup, post the script.

do you have the file extension set to open in notepad...


to change right click autobot and go to open with...


selcet scar and click the box with always use this program with extension

click ok

k i know ive been doin that, but thanks. my problem is that when i press run on scar, 1 of 2 things happens
1 nothing happens at all, at the bottom it says "running script" or something like that.
2 an error message pops up, i press ok, and nothing happens.

 

If nothing happens at all, you need to get the newest SRL from www.srl-forums.com, 3.81.

If you're getting an error, post it.

 

i have a new version of srl.
the error says: [Error] (2:1): 'BEGIN' expected
i just thought of something, foor some reason my computer canverts certain things to different languages,fonts,etc.

should the code be in english, or will it have letters with ~ and stuff over them? i was gonna post the begining of the code, but it wouldnt let me.

 

Make sure you are using WinRAR to extract it and you aren't just trying to open it that way.

what if the file doesnt come zipped? the one im trying isnt. and does it matter if its all a differend language?

 

.. It shouldn't be in a different language. It is in a .rar file and if you don't use WinRAR to extract it then it will come up in foriegn characters.

 

none of the stuff that i am downlaoding comes in a folder, and if i put it in a folder and extract it, i get this "could not load windows CE aplication manager
the specified module could not be found."
