anyone watch that fight? I ordered it on ppv and it was definitely worth every penny, now I'd like to see a 3rd fight at 155.

Didn't see it but it's all over social media. Sounds like the general public is arguing about who actually won.

Aka Dana White cackling as he counts his millions and knows there's a 3rd fight inevitably coming.

Diaz fans will say its rigged, or that the UFC needed the money. Don't see how you can say that when 3/5 rounds were won by McGregor.

Nah Diaz definitely didn't win. Was dominated in round 1, was getting beaten for most of round 2, and then was beaten for most of round 4. It was either going to Connor or it was going to be draw.

Think about this. If Conor didn't win, a 3rd fight wouldn't make sense/be plausible.

Yeah the comments I read that were arguing for Diaz thought it was tied going into the 5th and that Diaz won the fifth.

I wasn't able to find a stream of the match unfortunately. I wanted to watch but couldn't find one.

Mainly made the Dana White comment because it's the perfect result for his bank account. Mcgregor winning definitely helps his bottom line.

Of course, Dana wanted Connor to win, but don't think it was rigged for him to win.

The people that were arguing for Nate winning after winning the 5th are assuming Nate outright won the second round, which isn't the case. They only remember the last minute and a bit of that round and not the first 3-4 minutes. The judges all gave Nate the 5th round.

If they were arguing that it was a tie however, I could see their point. The match was very close and just when you thought one man was about to win, the other one would get a second wind. Was good to watch, and worth every cent for the people who paid.

Yep I was going to add that to my comment. Round 2 seems to be the one being debated.

I have seen arguments for a tie, again the same thing would have been said by people if Mcgregor lost tonight (screjob/rigged/etc.etc).

Best to just have a 3rd fight to settle it. I'll definitely be watching that one.

In the meantime I'm looking forward to UFC 203 looks like a pretty good card. Well I mainly just want to see if CM Punk can last more than 1 round.

True, but that still doesn't mean it was rigged.

Well what else were you trying to imply by your statement?

"Think about this. If Conor didn't win, a 3rd fight wouldn't make sense/be plausible." , well no shit bro

It means he had to win the fight regardless for a trilogy to exist, but that doesn't mean, nor did I imply the current match was rigged, otherwise I would've blatantly stated such. You're projecting a denunciation as an excuse to defend someone not being attacked.

3rd fight should be at 155, connor is much better at that weight class as far as cardo, not only that he moved up 2 weight classes when he first took that fight, lost it took it like a man re matched him at the same weight class and won, only way the 3rd rematch will happen is at 155.
