Why am I getting such big FPS drops

I have tried everything with little affect. I have unparked my cores set launch options downloaded game boosters everything I could find. Still my FPS drop so much. I get 299 FPS and as soon as I see an enemy it drops to half of that around 150 FPS. I have a new benq monitor my computer is 8gb ram i2500k with 3.30ghz on Windows 7 premium. All I have on the computer is cs go so it's not the space. Any help here would be greatly appreciated

Edit : I really want my FPS to stay consistently high and not drop all the time

 

Dont use high settings

 

Even at low settings I get the massive drops

 

Tell us which graphics card you got.

 

I have a ge force gtx 570

 

Your drivers are probably outdated. Also open console and type Fps_max 144
You don't need 144+ fps, because there's not better monitors on sale, well 180Hz monitor came out, but I guess you don't have that yet.

 

The game feels smoother with higher fps and my drivers are all updated

 

Always try that what I said.
That won't 100% work.
There's some fps drop fix guides on YouTube. Most famous ones are based to configs. Take a look to them aswell.

 

I have looked into them nothing really worked. Still need help if anyone knows
