Aids Cure Made?!

Over population is going to happen anyway, Aids is just slowing it down. By the time there is a widespread cure we will have acheived semi-affordable space travel. So, since a measly virus can't stop overpopulation, why don't you just let a couple million people be happy?

If you can afford the aids cocktail you still can't CURE aids but you can pretty much live a normal life, not many people could tell you have aids. Only if you can afford it though...

None the less humanity needs to be able to die, without death life becomes without meaning and can be taken for granted. Also overpopulation becomes a factor.
Obviously I would be extremely grief stricken if one of my family members were diagnosed with AIDS but people just have to die, the Catholic Church believes that when someone dies it's the time God has decided that this soul's time has expired and I strongly believe in this. However commiting adultery with a monkey doesn't really fall under God's juristriction.
Their are good things about a cure to AIDS and bad things.

I kinda agree with tank. The world is becoming over populated, thats why we have diseases, to keep the population down. If we find a cure for AIDS another virus will come along, or AIDS will adapt and perhaps be even more deadly. For as long as there has been life, there have been diseases, its not gonna change any time soon. If someone i know had AIDS yer i'd be unhappy, and yes i'd want a cure, but in the long run AIDS will keep the population down. And you cant be born with AIDS, your born with HIV which can develop into AIDS, also you can live your whole life with HIV and not notice.
