Am I supposed to be a DNT dictionary / spokesperson?

I'm bored so I came up with this

I feel like four TWC ranks but instead each will say NOT TRUSTED at the top
And DON'T TRADE at the bottom.

Each rank would cost xx dollars to be removed, in RSGP. Which could later be exchanged and donated to a gonfundme page that the CDT picks for the month to support.

This would create a payment plan for the person whose currently DNT and help support needy gofundme campaigns


So my idea is:
X amount of dollars they owe split amongst 4 ranks that need to be paid to get removed, once all 4 ranks are gone theyre fully restored as a full member with a TWC until they have 5 credible vouches.

 

Alright, well I just got off the phone with the Do Not Trade Embassy. They redirected me to their Debt Collection Department who said DNT is currently on strike until the word "triggered" is officially renamed, rebranded, and redirects to "Yousuckv2".

 

So start messaging scam victims and telling them they won't be getting their money back because staff don't care then I guess?

abusive owner of the website who went anti scammer butt buddy to scammer butt buddy

it's had less repayment than the previous pardon system and welcomed a ton of scammers back into the community giving them reason to not pay their debts so if that's not a step backwards i'm not sure what would be

while staff do obviously have similarities to the average community members you can't argue there's zero differences

didn't accuse you of not caring about anything but so far i haven't seen much to suggest you guys care too much about dnt users being banned and not paying a dime back, i have a feeling if you and richard were to message the victims of each DNT user and inform them that they've been unbanned with only minor restrictions and nothing forcing them to pay said victims back, the results wouldn't be that these users were happy with the current state of the website

i'm not the only one who feels this way, even ibdb as a DNT user agreed that currently a lot of DNT users seem to just be sitting around doing nothing and the staff team seem to think the answer is to give them more time and space

Tell me what differences come to mind.

We can't and won't force people to pay victims back. If they want to have DNT removed and pardon, they'll need to seek restitution first. You think DNT users aren't happy to have access back to their account and post around in the community? Cause they seem pretty active to me.

Well 3 weeks certainly isn't a long time. If for some reason the DNT system is ineffective, it doesn't take long to reverse.

rank, power, access to nonpublic information come to mind when considering differences between average users and staff members? also the fact that when richard actually bothers to listen to staff opinion (not often according to the half dozen that just left) i'm sure he takes it into more consideration than the average community member

why would any of them want to pardon when they already have access back to the sections they wanted? they're perfectly happy to have access back which is my point, there's no reason for them to pay anyone back anymore because there's nothing in it for them

i think 3 weeks is ample time to work on contacting someone you scammed, asking staff to help you do so, or working on a payment plan if you've contacted them? how long exactly are they just going to be allowed to sit around doing nothing before something is done about lack of repayment?

I think he values someone who can make an argument with valid defense/reasoning over someone's position on his site.

In your case, maybe. For those who want to use the market again and run a business as an outlet on the other hand...

Yet again, staff are courts, not police. We won't force them to seek restitution, but require it as pardon of the pardon process.

In addition, you act as if all the people granted DNT status have been active since the day it was granted and/or have the means in order to repay their victim(s). As stated earlier on, what would your situation look like if you had someone to pay $800 back to? What would your strategy be? How long would it take you to repay? What would your plan be?

Put yourself in their shoes and think about the logical process there. There's so many other things to consider too.

• "Do I even need to use Sythe anymore?"
• "What can I use the market for?"
• "How can I afford to refund my victim(s)?"
• "Will my pardon be accepted for DNT removal?"
• etc...

It's like you don't even care to consider anything at all, but chalk everything up in simple terms as if everything is clear cut, simple, and straightforward. Well it's not... Get used to it.
