Well I wouldn't mind seeing him make a donation to a charity via a non charge back able method. Alot of those people he scammed are banned or inactive anyways.

 

Also having scammers pay to a charity where victims can't be located can be good PR material

 

I'm sure even with that 9.5% vote there's a substantially larger chance of it happening just like with every other bad idea that has been proposed recently.

Would prefer that they pay the money forward to staff or Big Rich that way we can be sure that the money won't be charged back. If they charge back they can just be rebanned by staff as they'll know who did it and why. Another better alternative previously mentioned by @Bus369 would be only accepting methods that can't be charged back such as BTC/RSGP, INSTANTLY (and I mean ASAP) selling it before any price crash, then donating it. Either way I feel the final donation should be sent through the staff or Richard himself. As much as i'd like to believe some of these people wouldn't chargeback a donation from a charity if there's no chance of them being caught, we both know there's some that would do such a thing (quality job of unbanning these people btw.)

Less interested in this, it should be more about donating to the cause but if the website benefits then that's not a bad thing either. It should always be in a way that it's more about donating than benefiting the website however. Ironic as the donations wouldn't be happening without the website, but oh well.

 

I was 16 at the time majority of these scams occurred. Are you suggesting that a person is unable to grow and mature in 6 years? I'll be 23 in September, and my life has changed dramatically since my old days on Sythe.

You probably have changed but the whole point of this dnt system is to pay people back and to be honest I just want to see if Sythe will actually stick to his word of why he introduced this system.

So you were hoping that the list of victims wouldn't be found and you wouldn't have to attempt to pay them back because that would mean facing all of the people you scammed, you'd rather just pay out to a charity (not a bad option but shouldn't necessarily be the FIRST option if victims are reachable) or just say "well, I tried" without actually having tried. Either that or you're just bitching at Punjabi for trying to help you out and assist with your repayment process because he disagrees with you being unbanned. Neither of these make you come across as a real winner, scum bag

 

It's not hard to Google and find out what Punjabi found. Assuming if the staff wanted to, they could have easily have found the victims names as well. Have I personally gone through the list to contact any of them? No I haven't... I've just assumed that everyone would have been long gone by now so why bother?

@Matt Hasty We have to work together. Although you scammed and I didn't, we are still a community and your business is my business, if you had a problem I would have your back just like you did here. You couldn't find the people you scammed and I felt like it was obligation to help you be the change we all want to see in this community.
