Rune scim/r2h pking trick

How do you do the pking trick with a r2h and a rune scim? I am trying to get used to RS@ pking and I saw a few people doing the trick the other night and was just wondering how it works/if it works and if its worth doing/knowing.

Theres really no trick to it. You fight like normal with the scimmy until your opponent gets low on life, then you click on the 2h and then attack them quickly. Your 2h, for that hit will go as fast as it would as if it were a scimmy. It's good for koing people.

Does using an r2h to finish actually work, I mean what are the chances of u pulling up a big number with it. What if it hit 0. Am I missing the big picture here?

 

Your chances are greater to hit a big number if you use r2h than you would a scimmy.

 

The whole concept of KOing is reducing their health faster than they can heal.

We all know that when someone's health gets low, they stop and start gulping down fish or whatever else it may be. With a scimmy, you can work them down, then just before they pause to eat, you whip out the r2h and attempt to knock what little health they have left down to zero before their next fish is clicked and eaten.

Thus, KOing them. It's always fun when you do it quickly, so you not only get their armor and weapons, but you get the food they weren't able to eat and thus remain in the Wilderness longer to do more PKing.

just pull 2h when they're low hp no skill to it except vision.

 

except you have to time get low hit 1 more time with scimi then pull out 2h then it kos fast it happens to my mager to much lol

 

Is r2h really that slow? I mean once I used it on some guy and it seemed to have the same speed as the scim when I tested about 2 years ago or something. I'll test it again, but could someone explain the time difference to me? I haven't played in a long time lol.

 

to do the tactic properly here is what you wanna do.
get them to about 20hp. [ varies between lvls ]
make sure u got over 20 hp urself.
hit them with scimmy and as soon as you see the hit mark. [ blue or red thing that appears on there body ] then pull out ur 2h and click on them as fast as u can.
after you have hit them switch to scimmy and eat three times if ur hp is that low.
the reason u eat is because you will be standing there taking a hit and a half after u use 2h.

 

Its alot faster when you use range/2h. You get health low and you have to guess the next hit and as soon as you see the arrow coming out, switch to 2h. Sometimes ive done it where it looks like they got hit twice! But for scim, pretty much do the same thing, you have to remember to click on them after you change to 2h, its a lot slower if you dont.
