Need more pop, 3d, shadowing maybe, more fun / cool, NEEDS TO BE SAME COLORS.

Whipped this up in about a half hour or so, I understand it's not identical to the colors, but I did keep all base colors from text and utilized the orange from your old logo from the light bulb for the check mark.

The check mark adds to and compliments the light bulb being it represents 'choice' and the orange making the text stand out more through saturation difference.

If you're looking for a few adjustments, feel free request a few tweaks.

Will send PSD + unwatermarked .png after payment if you decide to use this piece.

Edit:
So I've made some minor changes
such as the light source has been changed slightly and added more shine to the text.
I have three different positions I felt personally the logo fits best at.
between Image 1 the logo contains a bevel to add a bit more depth,
Image 2 however does not have that so you can pick the one you see fits better.

 

Ill work more on the bulb if you decide to work with me.

OP, you do have a few people that are interested in making the design,
but no one's certain if you are still in need of a logo, or are working with someone one on one. Communication in that sense will help both parties out quite a bit.

I really like this! My boss wants to know if you can make it larger, and make the bottom word the same as the top, and make it pop more! Like some contour or 3D.
