I believe I fit all "requirements" for being a user educator. First of all, I'm always avaliable to help somebody with something on the technology side. I know numerous things, not only technological, but anything. I believe I could be overdosed with information eventually, and I will be able to help 99 percent of the question bearers that come to me. I enjoy helping others and writing guides such as these. I am also mature. I always use proper grammar and english, so I don't tlk lykk dis!1!one!11eleven!11one!1! If I am not accepted, I will keep trying at it, and hopefully I will succeed eventually. I've always been trustworthy, but I have nothing to prove that at the moment. (except for a few vouches) I've had experience being a user edcuator/head user educator, as I am a head user educator on Rscity.org. Anyways, I believe I would be an excellent user educator. Keeping your computer fast and clean


1. First, delete all un-needed programs, folders, and pictures.

2. Now download AVG free at http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/

3. Run a virus scan

4. Once done with that, Empty the Recycle bin

5. Always scan your files with virusscan.jotti.org

1. Go to Start->All Programs->Accescories->System tools->Disk Defragmenter

2. Choose the one you want to defragment (eg. C

3. Now click "Analyze"

4. When completed, Click View Report.

5. If it says the volume should be defragmented, keep reading.

6. Keep Disk Defragmenter open, and make sure the volume that was reccomended to be defragmented is chosen.

7. Choose the Defragment option.

8. Wait for it to finish.

9. Once this is done, you may exit.

3. Once completed, Un-check the boxes that you DON'T want to delete.

4. Once this is done, you may exit.
How to keep tempature control of your dell Inspiron/Latitude/Precision laptop.

1. Install the latest version of I8KFANGUI-http://www.diefer.de/i8kfan/index.html

2. To download it, go down of the webpage, click "Primary download site (Germany)"

3. Click Save->Save again.-> Once completed click run.-> Choose run again.-> Choose your language then click "OK"->
Click Next->Click I agree-> Click Next-> Click install.

4. Now that we are done downloading, lets set it up. Go to start->All Programs->Hover over I8KfanGUI->Click I8KfanGUI

5. Click options.

6. Look at the tabs on the top. Find "Miscellaneous". Click it.

7. Check "Minimize to tray when closing main menu"

8. Close out.

9. When the tempature on the tray is over 70 degrees, you might want to take a break from your laptop.

10. If you would like, you can clean your fan, this will make your laptops tempature go down. To do so, read the following
steps.

11. Shut down your computer.

12. Where your power button is located, to the far right there should be the end of the section that it is on

13. Lift that up, and carefully remove the whole section.

14. You're going to need to find the fan by unscrewing alot of fastened parts in there.

15. Once you locate the fan, use an air duster to spray inside of the fan.

16. Do this for about 3 miniutes.

17. Now put everything back together and boot up your laptop.

18. Your tempature shouldn't be above the seventies anymore.

19. Games like RuneScape do heat up your laptop, RuneScape could make your laptop increase in tempature anywhere from
3 degrees to 20 degrees.

20. Repeat this process every two weeks or so, and your laptop should be fine.


Organizing and modifying your desktop

1. Click Start->Control Panel->Display->Customize desktop.
2. Look down at the bottom of the window and make sure "Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard Every 60 days" is checked.
3. Click "Clean Desktop Now"
4. Follow the ordered instructions.
5. Finish Desktop Cleanup.
6. [OPTIONAL] Make a folder for everything.
[Example] If you have eliteswitch, autoers, etc. This is useful. Make folders with names such as "RuneScape" or
"RS2 Cheating". Now drag these certain programs into the specified folders.
7. If you are not content, keep reading.
8. Right click on your taskbar. For those of you who do not know what a taskbar is, it is the bar on either the
very top, bottom, left, or right side of your computers monitor/screen. Typically it is found on the bottom of your
computers/laptops monitor or screen. Right click on the Taskbar and click "Toolbars". Click "Quick launch".
9. After complete, You should have a list of icons on either the right or left side of your taskbar. To add programs onto
this, drag an icon onto it. To take them off, drag the icon off. How does this help your desktop? Because you can drag
certain other programs/files onto this instead of having your files/icons on your desktop.
10. If you are STILL not satisfactory with your desktop, Take everything off. I can't help you!

Downloading and using Trillian Messenger

What is Trillian? Trillian is an all-in-one messenger. It is very useful, and it is also
good because nobody can freeze your MSN if you do use trillian.

1. First, go to the official Trillian website (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com)

2. Click the "Download trillian basic" button, as shown below.



3. You will now be redirected to "Download.com"

4. Click "Download now"

5. Once complete, choose the save option.



6. Save to your desktop.



7. Once the download is complete, go through its normal installation process.





8. After installation, it is pretty easy to add contacts, register your MSN, AIM, Yahoo, etc.

How to upload a video on YouTube

1. Make an account on http://www.youtube.com

2. Once you're done with that, click "upload videos"



3. Fill out the required boxes.



4. Click "Continue Uploading"



5. Click the browse button.



6. Locate your movie and click on it.



7. Click "Open"

8. Choose whether you want it public or private.

9. Let it upload.





10. Once it is done uploading, fill out the next "form"

11. It will take a while to appear, but after that you should be done!

What do you mean adding that somewhere else? As in, making a new guide to replace that, and posting that somewhere else? I could add a disclaimer giving credit to you insted if so..

Apart from a few spelling and grammar mistakes I rather liked this. you have a clear way of explaining things although the application itself is a bit messy. I think you should be given a chance at being user educator, so a definite "yes" from me.
