Donor Lounge

Remove the ability for DNT users to post in the Donor Lounge. DNT users don't hold a donation rank and all perks received for donating are stripped while they are DNT. Access to the Donor Lounge is a perk. Not sure why this hasn't already been removed and honestly I assumed they couldn't until this scammer posted up there:

The dicing section is apart of the market right? That shouldn't be view-able for DNT's.

 

Donor Lounge is fine as long as they can't dice imo. It's not like it's much of a perk.

 

Anything that slightly could be considered a perk is more than they deserve.

 

I don't care either way to be honest. I don't think it's necessary, but I'm okay with it happening if everyone else agrees it's a good idea.

Seems kind of useless to take the DL away. It's not like there's anything special there other than the dicing stuff.

 

There's nothing there really besides dicing which they aren't allowed to do. I wouldn't mind it being taken away for dnt users but i don't see the point.

 

Makes sense, it is an underserved bonus. Support if it's easy to implement, no point wasting time over a minor thing.

 

I think this thread is missing the point. I also think removing donator tags are missing the point.
If a player is DNT, they shouldn't trade. If staff feel like they will trade, don't let them back. Ultimately, the person has still donated, whether it be for the right or wrong reasons, they have still supported sythe and should be able to showcase it. If they cannot showcase it, they are still donators so should have access to donator forum, but once again shouldn't be allowed to dice as it is trading?

 

No support, Donor lounge is a community section for community members that are(or were in case of DnT) donors.

They cant dice, theres no harm they can do besides boost activity.

 

The DNT tag already bans them from multiple sections i'm not sure how hard just adding 1 more would be.

No the fact is you're lucky to be allowed back in the first place and don't deserve any perks from you having donated or any perks at all really. Any recognition of them having once supported Sythe went out the window when they scammed and were exiled from the community in the first place. They are not donors, they are former scammers on parole. Once they are pardoned, they will still be scammers/scum but won't be on parole anymore and can have their original access back. For the time being there's no reason to not continue removing perks and access from DNT users until they start fixing what they broke.

It's a community section for people who supported the website, not for those who ruined the website for other users through scamming or other malicious acts. If DNT users want access back to the donor lounge, they can pay shit back. Find me 10 or even 5 users who are DNT and actually refunding, and weren't already before being placed in DNT. This has been happening for a few weeks now and Richard stated one of the main goals would be repayment but as Tyler stated on another thread literally more DNT users have been caught evading their DNT status than have started paying back after being unbanned, it's a joke. The best method is to either start removing more perks or just start rebanning them. Which would you prefer?

Donor ranks and privileges were removed upon being placed in DNT. Donor Lounge is a donor perk. DNT users do not get access to donor perks. Not sure what's hard to understand about it.


Also @ everyone who's saying it's not a big deal. I understand it's not like we're removing a lifeline or anything but it's still 1 more thing they won't have access to and obviously some of them care since I already have 1 DNT user/scammer (Boosting) complaining about how they should still be recognized as donors as well as an ex-DNT user.

 

I wouldn't really call the donor lounge a perk? I also don't mind losing access to it either. I honestly believe you just like to complain about everything though. Relax a bit. This whole thread could have been a private message to either Matthew or Sythe.

 

DNT users should not have access to the donor lounge. I support this 100%.

 

I have a feeling you just like complaining on my threads considering the fact that a PM to Matthew or Sythe wouldn't have allowed others to give their opinion or show support/nonsupport for the idea.
