Tips for a potential booster?

I might start boosting low elo accounts soon, being Bronze-Gold 5. What precautions should I take when boosting other peoples accounts so I have the lowest chance of getting banned? I don't know if there is a really a "right" answer, but all tips will be appreciated! I've heard about VPNs and was wondering if they are even worth it. How much does it help keep a booster safe? Is there a certain amount of tiers/divisions I should do per day to lower the chance of being caught? Those are the only questions I can think of at the moment but please give me all your tips and if you don't want to share publicly PM me. And Yes I already know the "Safest way to not get banned/caught is by not doing it". XD

 

I used to boost accounts offsite, I never got banned before. I think you should be ok

 

I'm not a booster so take my words with a grain of salt. Honestly I would just suggest using common sense and being extremely courteous and you should be just fine. Don't even bother chatting with others past pings to avoid any chance of any bad marks on the account you're on. I'd make sure to at least be logging in from an IP in the general area of your customer although it might not be a huge deal. In the past, I've heard of people actually being banned because their friends suspected boosting so make sure to maintain the same keys for summoners and play similar roles to the person you're boosting. As long as you aren't bringing attention to yourself I wouldn't worry at all.

Don't climb too fast. Also don't advertise boosting/the fact that you are smurfing.

 

I think what toast said is pretty interesting, but I'm not sure if riot can detect it. If they could, they could probably tell easily when boosted.

Don't move all the keybindings around and make it all like you want it when its been played 500 games beforehand another way, and then when you're done - they revert it back to what they used. You see what I'm saying here? Although I don't know if Riot can track this. Would be some good research to do

 

1] Common sense
2] Don't say "I'm smurfing let me .... role" or anything to do with smurfing/boosting in any chat.
3] Don't speak to other players, ignore them unless necessary. Ping if needed.
4] Remember you're boosting somebody, not teaching others how to play.
5] Focus on your gameplay. If top feeds, forget it and try your absolute best to carry.

 

I think the only way you can get banned is by advertising that you are boosting. I've logged onto several account in a single day without using a vpn and all of them have been fine. Always remember to stay in touch with the person you're boosting and give them updates, ask if you really need to buy something. A website that rhymes with RolAcademy plays on accounts 24/7 basically and just switches boosters after one plays 6-7 games and their banrate is super low. Err I might try getting a bit higher before boosting. Gold 5 seems kind of low to start boosting. No offense but when there are so many dia + boosters seems kind of like it'd be ahrd to get enough business, but good luck!

 

Just play normally most important don't chat with anyone in game or be salty. Don't reply to his friends msg's unless instructed to do so. Overall just try not to draw too much attention as boosting is a job you have to be professional. Frown upon those boosters who openly admit they are boosting cos they wanna be salty :\

 

If you think it's a great idea to pm their friends list advertising your boosting service, it's not... if they have the mobile app they can see the conversations from their phone while you're logged in the client.

 

Use similar champs if you're comfortable with them. Other than that avoid talking in the chat - stick with pings.
