Guide To Free Ringtones (Verizon, Lg Phones)

Hello, this is a simple guide on how to get free ringtones on Verizon, and Lg phones.

Step 1- Make sure your carrier is Verizon and make sure your phone is an Lg.

Step 2- Find a desired ringtone for your phone, you can use the search ability to save you alot of time looking for the desired ringtone.

Step 3- When you find a ringtone you want to hear you can click on listen on the top right of each ringtone box. Unfortunatly, you will have to sign up in order to listen to the ringtone. But the good news is downloading them does not require an account! So you can just download the ringtone to your computer and listen to it there.

Step 4- If you are happy with the ringtone of your choice, in each seperate ringtone box there a column, and it says "Send To:" and click on download. Download it to a place where you can remember what folder it will be in.

Step 5- Now extract it, (You will next Winrar, or Winzip to extract the ringtone) After you extract it you can now listen to it using Windows Media Player or any music software on your computer.

Step 6-Go to your Email and send an Email to your phone. The format to send to verizon phones is [email protected] Replace the numbers with your real cellular phone number including area code. To make it more clear if my phone number was 444-222-7777, then you would send the email to [email protected]

Step 7- Now attach your ringtone to your email message. Make sure you send the ringtone unzipped, if you send it as you downloaded it, the ringtone will not work.

Step 8- Now send the email message with your ringtone attached to your phone.

Step 9- Wait a few seconds/minutes and you should get a picture message. The picture message should come with your ringtone and you can hear the ringtone in the backround of your phone.

Step 10- When you are viewing the picture message and you can hear the ringtone in the backround, go to options and put set/save as ringtone. There you go, you now have that as your ringtone.

    Frequently Asked Questions/Notes/Tips

    Q. Are the ring tones really free?

    A. Depends, if you have unlimited text/picture messaging then yes.

    Q. What if you dont have unlimited text/picture messaging, then how much are they?

    A. They cost as much as a regular picture message.

    Q. Are picture messages the same as text messages?

    A. No, you can send pictures instead. But for this instance we are sending ringtones, and picture messages are slightly a higher price than text messages.

    Q. Why can't I open the ringtone??

    A. Most likely because it is zipped or you do not have a music player.

    Q. Can I send it as a zipped file?

    A. No the cellular phone will not unzip it and you can not use it as a ring tone.

    Q. Can I download a ringtone from a different site for a ringtone?

    A. Yes as long its a .wav and your phone can recognize it as a ringtone and if you can send it to your phone then yep you could.

    Tips/Notes

Use yahoo mail, I have never had any trouble with it not sending the ringtone.

When searching for a ringtone make sure you be specific or try other frequent names they use. For example I may be looking for a song with tupac, search "tupac" or "2pac" If all else fails trying to find your ringtone then somebody probably didnt make it yet.

You can also send pictures and set pictures as your phone wallpaper.

Hmm, very nice guide.but add in that, you can download a "WAV" converter to eliminate the downloading process.

Can you tell me where are you getting free sprint ringtones for Motorola?

I tried a lot of free sites, but quality is the issue.

Recommend me a good paid site.
