Will i get banned..?

Hi, i just got a one question.
-When i bot with my alt and play with my main at the same time, and bot gets banned while im online with main, will it get banend too? (Hope you understand)

 

It's possible, it's called a chain ban.

 

However unlikely to happen.

 

great question honestly, i think this is everyone's concern.. Im with igguy here, because if they "perm" ban the account i think they go by the client id more or less than the actual IP address.. and since I hope your smarter than to use the same client (program) the odds would be against a ban on your main.. now im sure if they noticed your IP for always being banned im sure there would be more extreme consequences.. but that is the botlife price buddy...

 

it is very possible. I have lost several accounts from macro that I didnt actually macro on.

It's not unlikely at all. If your main interacts your alt a lot, you're most likely to get banned on both.

 

The probability is high enough that I wouldn't risk it. Just get a proxy to use on your bot dude, its really easy to set up.

 

Honestly, they care more about whether or not the accounts interacted. Like if you traded between them. I've never used a proxy and accounts that interact with my botting accounts get banned. But accounts that don't interact with them don't get banned. All the same IP and all play at the same time occasionally.

 

As mentioned above as you're not interacting eg. gold farming on Alts then xfering the gold to your main then you shouldn't have a problem with a chainban.

 

To be honest yes the chance is always there that your main also gets banned. I've been botting accounts & running small gold farms since like 2006 and I never got any of my mains banned. If you want to be 100% sure, spend like $3 and buy a proxy.

 

As an IT technican I must say that it's very likely that they are aware that not only a bot was being run on from your IP address, but also from your computer, so most likely all of your accounts are being watched right now, or at least have a higher chance of being banned. For future, setup a Virtual Machine, use HyperV or VirtualBox, they're free, as well as setup a VPN on it, I highly recommend TunnelBear, it's easy to use and masks your IP address.
