Where Did Sythe Go?

Like Some Of the Replies I agree i Havent been here Long But i Plan to -

Sythe Has Changed Since I Joined

No, im not talking about sythe , the owner im talking about sythe the Community

Where everyone was friendly and hardly a scammer in sight.

I Tried to Help Sythe Become a Little less Scammer Infested , But I cant Mannage

Im sure there are Hard Working Mods And Other Users that Feel The Same.
I Ow a Special Thanks To Deacon Frost , Pen, Annex, Vic , Sythe

But What i Would Like to ask is Going to Be Hard to Come By.
All the Staff members Mods, Admins , MMs Devote One (1) Week To Bring Sythe Back , During this week I want Them all to work together And Solve the Problems, Eg Looking into Bans Little Further, Banning People In that are Scamming,

Just One Week To Bring Sythe Back.

What the hell do you know about the old sythe, you've been here for 6 months. I've been here for over a year, and don't claim to know anything about what sythe used to be like.

 

I support the thought, and the idea that Sythe should be brought back... However, the level at which Sythe is at is the level, I'm assuming, it's been at since it's creation.

A week of devotion to Sythe would mean a lot of demotions (which seem to be happening anyway) and as such, a HUGE loss of members, and a potential scam. If the mods are focussing on cleaning up, and the Admins on fixing up, then the present will be ignored. How the forces are divided now holds up the walls in a weird way.

I do wish to see Sythe.org in its grand, but the chances of that happening are slim, as there is too much phising and preventing that needs to go on for it to happen.

However, if they had more help... they may be able to branch out a bit better.

 

I think sythe.org is great the way it is.. if the staff had decided that they needed improvements then that would be fine also..

 

Personally I think there was always a lot of scammers, There just doing a better job at spoting them.

 

The community has gone down its not like it used to be, Used to be superior.

 

It's still a great community. Most people do come here to scam but if people were more aware of what was going on then they wouldn't be scammed. I have been here longer than you and I have never seen Sythe where 9/10 pin sellers "will only go 50/50 or you go first". If you pay more attention to what's going on then you won't be scammed. People are being banned but there is nothing the staff can do any better. Maybe you should be talking to the people in the Report A Scammer forum that say, "0mg 00088866633 st0le mi 40m he sad onli i g0 fIrst f0r pin s0 i giv him 40m and he log off 0mg plz gimme bak moni i tel my mom plz ban him". Those are the people that are being scammed and those are the people that do not get the scammers banned.

 

what do you mean "take a week to bring it back", u think there not working as it is? thats all they do on sythe ius look into bans and ban scammer ect..

 

yea man i think there doing a good gob as is but thats just me. ne where u go theres gonna be scammers n stuff thats just life.

 

I've been here since Sythe first opened as RuneCMS. There were always people trying to take advantage of others...it's like that in any community, but especially in online communities which have a market.
As Sythe's market section grew, so did the amount of scammers. The very nature of the market makes it just about impossible to completely eliminate scammers since many who start out as honest can easily be tempted by the fast money scamming can provide.
