I hear ya loud and clear, I miss the nfl a lot too. Could have had some nfl yesterday but they fucked up the field :\

 

tbh id rather have them skip out on the game than risk players getting injured. nothings worse than getting your fantasy players hurt in preseason lmao

Wasn't fair to Green Bay or Indi to even have that game. Expected to play 5 pointless pre-season games.

After Jordy Nelson's injury last year I hope the Packers never play a pre-season game again -.-

 

Do you thing Jordy Nelson will return to be a WR1? I haven't seen Jordy plan enough to have a fair prediction whether or not he'll return to his old self after this recovery.

 

Really good question. I'd like to think so but that injury is brutal to recover from. I think he will still be very good which will in turn take a lot of pressure off of Green Bay. But if he loses his speed then we have a problem because Green Bay's WR's were measured / recorded the slowest in the league last year. That's why they struggled to move the ball so much. Nobody could create separation and they'd just double Cobb.

So hopefully Jordy's speed is restored and he's back to WR1 form. If he is the Packers are a Super Bowl contender. If he isnt the Packers are in the same boat as last year.

Lacy has trimmed down considerably and he will be another key factor in the Packers success.

 

1. I fucking love Eddie Lacy. Idc about the haters who say hes fat, that guy is a beast that can rape and pillage the defensive line. I just love watching him play in general.
2. Have you seen highlights of Nelson in practice/looking like his regular self? Or is it too vague to see his capabilities rn?

 

Yeah Lacy is a monster and if he re-hits his 2014 form I think the Packers are going to be one of the NFC's prohibitive favorites.

As for Nelson I'm not really sure. Unfortunately he tweaked yet another part of his knee (other knee I think) so he is still on the PUP (Physically unable to perform) list.

He is the one guy, ironically, that I do want to see get reps in the pre-season because he needs to shake the rust off.

The Packers have a pretty forgiving regular season schedule though. I'm expecting a 1 or 2 seed in the NFC if they stay healthy.

 

Melvin Gordon's legs looked reaaaallll fresh yesterday...not sure if he will make a valuable fantasy option but as a chargers fan im totally pumped

 

Dak Prescott was filthy in his Cowboys debut. Might have found the Romo successor.

 

can't wait to see him play in regular season, love watching rookie qbs make it or break it (usually break it :/)

Only things chargers can run is their franchise into their ground. Pretty sure it's intentional at this point to use as ammunition to move though. Just sorry to see Rivers' career wasted there.

 

Lmao joey bosa doesn't even wanna play for the chargers

 

There's been a long history of hold outs with that organisation. Gates himself held out and is now criticizing Bosa for doing so when he basically is setting a precedent for future players. Eli Manning was drafted by them and straight up refused to play also.

 

I hate how the chargers are coached and managed, but nevertheless I was a local since day one, and will stay a fan to the end. Theres a pain that comes with being a fan of the sport, and that is loyalty to your hometown.
