Hi, I’m hoping to help out everyone who has problems with his computer, or real-life experiments. Everyone is free to send me a message for a question, or just for a chat. I will try to help out everyone I can, and I will try to do it good. I know quite a lot about the basics of using all programs, but I don’t know much of programming. Tried a bit programming with Visual Basic, but it just didn’t work out I mess with things in real life to, to see how they work and all, so you are free to ask me about those things to I hope I get accepted with these tutorials (made the online radio a few months ago, but it still works )

Getting Vista-style on Windows XP

Hi, in this guide I'm going to explain you how to set Vista style on your Windows XP.

Requirements:
To install it, you need these 2 files:

• The style: http://tweakwindows.nl/index.php?p=skins&id=466
• Uxtheme patch (required for installation): http://tweakwindows.nl/index.php?p=tools&s=grafisch&id=198

The installation:
When you have downloaded the 2 files, open them (right click - open with - compressed files).
Then copy all the files (there should be 3 of them) from VistaCG.zip.
Now go to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\ and paste them there.
Open the UXTheme Multi-Patcher 5.0 (the second file you downloaded from above)
Open it, unpack, and double click on the file you get. When it asks for the Service Pack 2 cd, just close it.
If everything went right, you should have Windows Classic style now (don't worry, its only temporarely). Reboot your computer now.
Now should have your old style back Go to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\ and double click on the VistaCG file, hit OK and you're done

Save Youtube clips/movies on your computer as .AVI

Here am I going to explain how you can save all your favorite youtube files as .AVI

Requirements:

• Internet Explorer or Firefox
• Lates version of mediacoder (can be downloaded here: http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/ and pick full edition.

After you installed mediacoder, open your browser and go to extra - options and Remove all temporary files.
When you've done that, go to www.youtube.com and watch a movie you want to save as .AVI - Watch till the END of the movie/clip.

Now go to your map with the temp. internet files,
If you are using Internet Explorer, go to:

c:\documents and settings\USERNAME FOR EXAMPLE: QUHX\local settings\temporary internet files\content.ie5

If you are using Firefox, go to:

c:\documents and settings\USERNAME\local settings\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles\LETTER COMBINATION.default\cache - The combination is different for everyone.

When you are in the map, look for the biggest file in it (right click - arrange icons - Biggest) It will probably will your video file. Copy it and paste it to another location, for example your documents, and name it <NEW NAME>.flv.
It is very important for it to be .flv

Start your mediacoder, and hit Add File, and open your .flv file and hit Start It would convert it to a .AVI file now

Improve your internet connection


Here am I going to learn you how to reduce your lag during surfing on the internet.
First of all, hit CTRL + ALT + Del and go to Processes.
Look for iexplore.exe in the list.
Right click on it, and go to Set Prioirities - Higher then normal.

DO NOT click Realtime, then all the attention goes to your internet explorer wich can get your computer crashed!

Create an online radio

Create your own Internet Radio

Here I am going to show you how to create a little internet radio.

Requirements:

• First of all, you need Winamp, can be downloaded here: http://www.winamp.com/
• Then you need the shoutcast plugin, this one is very important. Can be downloaded here: http://www.shoutcast.com/

After you installed those, we can continue

If everyone went right, open your Winamp, and hit CTRL + P, it will open the options. Scroll down to 'Plugins'.
You see DSP/Effect (if not, download the Winamp again) Click on Configure active plugin. If you see LAN, enter (127.0.0.1) the adress.
If you don't got LAN, just enter your IP adress. (Can be checked here: http://www.whatismyip.com/)
Now go the 'Yellowpages'. Enter your name of your radio in Descritions. URL isn't necesairy (unless you have a website).
Now you click 'Make this Radio public'. Now you need a server, can be downloaded here: http://www.shoutcast.com/downloads/sc1-9-7/shoutcast-1-9-7-windows.exe)
Install it and open the GUI server. Go back to Winamp and connect to that server. Put music in the list and go to http://ipadres:8000/listen.pls
if you want to listen it If you want to check the status of your radio, go to: http://ipadres:8000

For people with LAN, you need a Port Forwarding, download that here: http://www.portforward.com/

Create your radio in an online Media Player.
Its quite easy, just paste this code in your website:

How to get a video on your PSP


Here am I going to show you how to put videos on your PSP

Requirements:

• Video converter: http://www.psp-saves.net/main/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=ns_getit&cid=3&lid=10&type=url#get

Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cable.

In the main folder of the PSP(D:\ at most cases xD) create a new folder called 'MP_ROOT'
Now go to D:\MP_ROOT and make a new folder called '100MNV01'
Go to the folder where the vid converter is and run the setup.
Click the one that has MP4 for psp(direct, renamed)or something like that
Drag the video file into where it sais to and wait for it to convert (remember where it stores the converted videos)

Now copy the new converted video into 'D:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01'

Pictures aren't DIRE... but they improve your chances of being accepted, as well as color... Just gives it a good look so we aren't bored while reading em.

 

I like this although it's a little short for my taste .Try to be a little more thorough. The internet speed up is very useful and original but as deacon said try to spice it up a bit.

Try getting some pictures. A picture is worth a thousand words when tutorials are concerned it makes it WAY more understandable. Where the rest is concerned I'd have to say that I like it

Don't you mean after you downloaded it ? I don't know how you've set your style before you followed this guide
