Religion Helps.

I think religion is a true and good thing even if some think it is fake. I my self am "Christian" I believe even if you dont believe in the christian religion or any other religion it helps in some way or other. If you realy think alot of people don't do many things wrong due to there religion, Some on the other hand Don't.

In alot of stuff religion rules such as "respect parents" or "don't ever have sex before maryed" are many things that even none religion people use. Many people say that religon is "crap" next time think mabe if religion is fake it still realy dose help people. Alot of people dont commit murders,rapes and suicide because of its shamed by there religion. So please next time if your one of them people that believe religions are wast of time or your the type that make fun of people for being a type of religion think.

People here have their own beliefs,leave them alone

 

Is there a rule that says "thou shall use correct grammar?"

Religion may have good morals behind it, but better ones can be developed without it. It may be comforting, but that doesn't mean it's good. Belief is Santa Claus is very comforting and exciting to children, but false. However, do we let children keep believing in Santa Claus? No, because once they mature they will have no need for it and can start facing Xmas as it really is.

 

Me neither tbh. It just a thing who people blame when something goes wrong, or who they thank if something really good happens xD

Meh. I don't agree at all. Religion takes away your ability to think for yourself if you practice too much of it. The only reason we probably have religion is because ancient people could not explain some of the things that happened, so they turned to religion to explain it for them. Anyway, about taking away your ability to think... Take this example, ask my ultra-religious cousins - they won't do ANYTHING without talking to a rabbi first to see if its okay with him. Completely stupid. Also, I don't believe half the stuff in the bible/torah. Do you know why? Because I don't see proof that it could have happened. I'm the type of person that doesn't believe stuff until they see it for themselves...unless I'm talking to a trusted friend, and I don't consider religion my friend.

 

Why do religious people always talk about how good it is...

1. Doesnt make you smarter faster, stronger, or better looking
2. You talk to made up people in your head, and sometimes aloud(praying) where on the street you see people talking to imaginary friends your always like that guy is fuckin nuts, but the imaginary religious figures are ok to talk to.. Bet you wont think im ok if i pray to the sweepstakes guy for that damn million dollars he is always mailing me about..
3. Religious people are so inconsiderate.. You son't see me showing up at your door asking to buy my stuff (Hey man i got this T.V set for sale. Buy it it will save you when the flood comes and if you act now i will throw in your own planet)(i think thats mormons the planet thing)
4.And lastly, you ever notice how people in a church are great people but people who do it on a farm a crazies (Branch Davidians) Little high on your horse there dont you think religions
5. Sorry have another point Priests touching little boys!!!!!!!!! and the cover up by the cardinals...WTF!!!!!!! O boy if only i was such a twisted little freak to be part of the great religious community
