Yeah for sure. Literally all of the gyms near my apartment are clearly being abused by cheaters. All of them are filled by the same guy who has multiple (3) accounts each level 35-37 camping all of the gyms. I don't think anyone can legitimately compete with his 2800-3500 CP pokemon. And even if they can, the person is a cheater, so they probably don't even have to go outside to take back the gyms. Oh well I have never really been a fan of gyms anyway.

Currently level 18. Didn't really get any new cool pokemon. I did see a 450 or so Drowzee near my apartment so I decided to evolve it to my now currently highest Hypno (942). I ran into a Pidgeot today but it ran from me. Wasn't that disappointed because it was below 100 CP. I have 3 10km eggs still but am deciding to hold on to them for now.

Hudson beach is always lit. I was able to snag Drowzee, Hypno and lapras tonight. I also caught a bunch of magicarp and a dragonair.

 

Tons of Drowzee and Hypno live around me. I have probably caught over 50 Drowzee at least since I started playing aha. Grats on the Lapras!

 

first time I've seen drowzee or hypno. I live near the ocean so it's a ton of water pokemon/electric. I cant tell you how many psyducks ive caught...

 

Haha I only caught 1 psyduck :'(

 

How hard is it to catch pokemon after the updates? I walked like 2 km and only found 1 pidgey

Also pretty good progress considering that you only play legit. proud of you buddy

 

Thank you. It has been the same for me. In the normal route I walk every day which is about 2 km I would probably catch around 8 pokemon. But that is near a busy street so there are probably quite a few spawns.

I clean pools for a living so I drive all over the place. I average 600 miles a week between 4 counties in florida. I probably have the most diverse collection of pokemon from what I've seen. Im starting to figure out where the best spawn points are. I've found Hitmonchan, Hypno, golduck, lapras and Dragonair all in the same spawn point.

 

I just dropped a lucky egg and evolved a ton of pidgeys. This got me to level 20 but I still don't really have any cool pokemon. Finally got my first Hypno from evolving a higher level Drowzee I found.
