    Is god imaginary?

You see, Christians and atheists seem equally ignorant here (no offense).

Christians: Something always was, but it had power.
Atheists: Something always was but it had no power or consciousness, and all of the universe and all of existence came from that...

    Is god imaginary?

Giving me evidence of his existence would not compromising my free will.

    Is god imaginary?

Just because god does/not exist doesn't mean free will exists or doesn't.

    Is god imaginary?

True but the point I was trying to make is that giving someone something doesn't compromise their free will. If given evidence of God's existence, I would still have the choice to believe it or not.

    Is god imaginary?

If you could prove god, i think everyone would be a Christian, but the religion requires faith.

It does, but why should it? The faith should be needed to trust that the God knows best and will be there for you, not to know whether he exists or not.

    Is god imaginary?

This topic is sad. Notice how all the Christians who have posted here are very narrow-minded. Everything has to have a creator? Then who created God? Surely not by coincidence?

That's a good point. Even if religion was true, then what would make Christianity the right one? There are over a thousand small, unorganized religions and several organized ones.

That's a paradox. Something which does not exist cannot create itself. If God created himself, then he would need to be existant in order to contemplate individually. And seeing as he did not exist, then he would be incapable of contemplating. Now, if he did exist, then he wouldn't create himself. Why create yourself if you already exist?

    Your theory is flawed.

Macro Man. Give evidence that god is real.

The power of prayer is merely a thought, your concious, nothing more. Your mind does not have the ability to speak to a "god" and have him answer your prayers.

God is impossible, your just brainwashed, like every other christian in the world.

Emotions are just chemical reactions. Morals, i.e. feeling guilty, are just social things. If you were born into a society that saw it as ok to murder people, you wouldn't feel guilty would you?

That has got to be the shittiest pro-God argument that I have ever heard. And the fact that you spell every second word wrong adds to my theory about all religious people being illiterates.

    Is god imaginary?

You should not need faith to know whether God is real or not. That is stupid. You should need faith to know whether God will provide for you, answer your prayers, etc. If you need faith for the basic foundations of your belief, then what are you basing them off of? Surely not facts.

Yes I think so, because most atheists cant even prove the way the whole universe started tracing back to the big bang, and even before.

Swearing makes people 'punks'? I see someone has been brainwashed by the morally correct media, eh?
