Take A Look At This.....Keylogged ETC...

Right welll i was on MSN the other day, and someone sent me an image file through MSN. He said it was a massive stake he had won or something...

So, i accepted it thinking .jpg files can't contain viruses, or keyloggers.

When i opened the picture it said "No preview is avalible"..

Then he started to act suspicious, so i scanned it and these are the results i got..


I really doubt he's got ay of my passwords as i haven't entered any since i found out about it...

So, what you think guys, is it a keylogger and if it is..how can i get rid of it...

Formatting the PC is more a less out of the question so please don't mention that..

It's a keylogger.

Ardamax keylogger to be exact; you can bind a keylogger to any type of file as far as I know.

Kill the akl.exe process
Unregister kh.dll and reboot
Remove akl.chm, akl.exe, kh.dll, license.txt, and qs.html.

Everybody says something different as far as what files can contain keyloggers. . . I'm pretty sure the above post is right though.

 

hahah same guy sent to me but i declines since i dont accept anything from anyone, i just make them upload it if its a picture then give me the link.

Or just only accept files from people you trust, and scan your files first.

 

No, its an jpg-exe binder...if you looked at the image, it ran the exe that was bound to the image, probably use ardimax keylogger cause hes a noob, funny how people can figure out how to jpg exe bind, yet cant find an undetectable keylogger.

EDIT: Notice NOD32 picked up nothing? thats cause its a piece of shit.

i accepted this huge file with like 25 trojans and viruses, i just cleaned my whole computer and wiped all the stuff to get rid of it.

 

Run any scans that you have on your computer to get it off, most you have to buy or atleast the really good ones.
But yeah i usualy tell me my computer auto cancels when people try send files and stuff unless its a link then i wait a min or two then say " Cool"

FYI ppl can get key loggers past joitt now!

 

Try using System Restore, and recover it to the day you didn't accept the file thus removing it from your system, and then to be more careful, you can always run a Virus Scan, if your worried about anything else, also, if you don't have a Anti-Virus Program, just try and get a trusted online one, they always use the same stuff, and it's free too, just to be on the safe side.

 

Download Norton and go through the 15 day trial. Then find a good sharez program or E-book on getting it setup without a subscription.
