for experienced stakers i need help

hey i need help.im making a pure zerker and i got the 45 def alredy.only problem is i forgot tht d slay raises def 15k xp so tht raises my def to 48 wich will ruin my pure.so im askin if wen i duel if i take off chest rmor will most ppl decline the duel and will the duel go by fast(like 4 dds specials and its done.or will i be able to have time to use whip.plz leave opinions.ty

 

Do Barbarian Outpost and get the penance (fighter) torso. It adds 5 to your strength bonus, so it would probably be better for you than a rune plate anyway. It will take some work though, but will be worth it since nobody I know stakes with plate off =/

You need 40, so you should be fine.

I don't think you need to be any particular combat level, bit I'm sure being able to use a whip and having decent strength would help.

 

Anyways you're supposed to do MM and D Slayer at 1 defense, so you get 40 even. Then do the rest of RFD and you can have legends cape (adds nice bonus) and barrows gloves.

 

I really would prefer a staker as a barrows pure or a def or attk pure. I've been staking a while and str barely does anything. DEF IS GOOD

 

Wow another person who sticks by defence in stakes, my main has 75 attack 78 str 80 def and it owns people 70 attack 87 strength 70 defence another thing i always do which improves your chance to win is always use excalibur special attack

Yeah most would decline, I normally just use a rune chain.

 

get 80 def and 80 atk...ur best option bro

 

get a fighter torso and fuck rune plate lol.

torso is amazing, but may take a while to get it.:\ just be patient.
