Citizenship, like many other things, has an application process. If an American has to go to another country and work for a month or two (business trip) then they must apply for a work visa, fill out all the paperwork, etc but immigrants can just come here without any paperwork? NO, they should place the military on the bored of Mexico and shoot anyone who comes across. I know its a poor country or whatever but they still need to do things the right way.

I use to work on a farm feeding cattle, i lost that job to a mexican cause he would work for less...below Minimum wage...

Because an illegal will go against the government and work for less than the government says is minimum? Why even have a min wage then? Its there to protect us from slave labor and sweat shops.

Well when the illegals are taking jobs that not many people want I think it's alright but when they start taking jobs that qualified people have then it's wrong. My parents have different views on this, my mom who works for the state believes that the illegals should get a chance but then on the other hand my step dad works as a union pipe fitter and believes that they should throw out all the illegals because he only gets paid $25 an hour instead of $33. Illegals are starting to get the union jobs and that is making people very angry. It doesn't help that the illegals are making all this income then not paying taxes.

I believe that they should be kicked out as well, or be given work permits so they have to pay taxes.

I am against Illegal immigration.
First of all, you know how much work our family had to do to first get a visa, then a green card and finally a US passport? I'm from India btw so no terrorists or what not. We're clean democratic people

If some mexican guy just walks into the US that too ILLEGALLY, and works ILLEGALLY you're going to just give him that green card/citezenship? just like that? It took us 8 years! And we had to take all these US history tests lol. I bet those mexican's don't even know the first pres..

well i am legal took me 7 years and, some people live at 5$ a day in mexico and other countries and most are honest and cant live there so they are left with no option

no offence, but maybe they are like all quoted because they arent exactly smart? you say things, and yes i understand that its hard for the imigrants but... they should:

a. learn english!

b. become legal(vesa, green card, etc.)

c. go to school and college

and to sum that all up, be useful!

true... very true... but there is a u.s. embessy in mexico in which you can apply for these things...

my eyes are open... im living in lower class. never lived in an actual home, just apartments. and they have food, ive been to mexico. now the cubans, thats a different story. the cubans have a lot of money, but are a big problem over in florida. the mexicans !can! work if they actually !try to!
