Did i own dpunk or did he own me?

    Dylan says:
my church believes in once saved always saved
    Dylan says:
so if they're right then technically i can get into heaven without the belief in exists
    Dylan says:
its like beating the system or something
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    all of christianity does
    Dylan says:
or is supposed to according to the Bible
    Dylan says:
but some deter the idea because of situations like mine
    Dylan says:
I mean who really wants an atheist in heaven?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    lol
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    You wont be an aithiest
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    In heaven'
    Dylan says:
    hmm
    Dylan says:
    touche
    Dylan says:
well at least there would be some evidence then
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
there's no eveidence of no god
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    You see
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
either side looks very foolish to me
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    because
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    aithiests have a god too
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    *sp
    Dylan says:
    hnnn
    Dylan says:
    care to expound a bit?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Ok, so with a diest god, your basically saying god always existed, forever, no time or start, no time of end
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
And atheists say materials/cemicals allways were
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    etc
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Basically
    Dylan says:
    ah
    Dylan says:
    i see
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Yes
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    You have your own god
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:

    Dylan says:
sort've the pantheist notion that everything is god
    Dylan says:
    nature
    Dylan says:
    us etcc
    Dylan says:
    etc*
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    lol
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    But i mean come on....
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Listen, i mean, there has to be no begining of time.
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    That is impossible.
    Dylan says:
    very much so
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    And
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Honestly imo
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
I dont think everything from eternity to eternity just came about out of mere chance.
    Dylan says:
    hmm
    Dylan says:
depends on what you define as chance
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Chance, the probabilty of something happening
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
ie: rolling dice, landing on two
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    etc
    Dylan says:
    hmm
    Dylan says:
well there maybe a very low chance that a particular existence like ours comes to be, but there is a 100% that something will come to be
    Dylan says:
out of all the combinations that could have occured, this is just the one that happened imo
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Wrong...
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
One cell contains more info than an 300 page book.
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    And, for one cell
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
The most MOST basic cell to form
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
It would be exactly the chances of hundreds of thousands of letters falling down exactly perfect to form a 400 page book, perfectly
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
The chances of that were proven to be .1/10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
    Dylan says:
thats where the line goes blurry
    Dylan says:
we dont know how life first formed
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Which science has determined basically impossible.
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Because
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Any chance that small
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    becomes nothing
    Dylan says:
once we understand the chemical reactions that took place to form life the rest of it can be explained
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Even if evolution is true, (which it isn
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    't)
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
That still doesn't say their couldn't be a god.
    Dylan says:
I still think natural selection is true
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    True
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    So do i
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    But
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    even if evolution is true
    Dylan says:
whether the whole concept of evolution is all true I don't know
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    It isn't
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    It's hilarious
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    imo
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
I owned a 44 year old pro evolutionist
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    debate..
    Dylan says:
    lol
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Very stupid, if evoltion was true, there would be hundreds of thousands of missing links we never found.
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
And we found fossils from the near beggining of the earth
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Dont even try to argue..
    Dylan says:
but the chances of a fossil even forming are so low in the first place that any sort've hinderence that could have occured during that time period would have almost elimanted the chance
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
but we've found every other damn fossil of every other thing known to man...
    Dylan says:
    hmm
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Lol, see?
    Dylan says:
what sort've missing links are you describing?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    any..
    Dylan says:
    like a transition fossil?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    mhmm
    Dylan says:
    like from fish to amphibian?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
there's a differnce between evolution and adaption
    Dylan says:
there is one kind of fish that supposedly has the remnants of arms
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    haha one?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Oh come on, millions of species
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
And they can barely find any missing links
    Dylan says:
but transitions that people are looking for don't exist the way we perceive
    Dylan says:
the mutations in a species have to be small enough for the species to still survive
    Dylan says:
what would a half fish half amphibian breed with?
    Dylan says:
it would be akward catching prey...
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    yea
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    it would die
    Dylan says:
    it would die...
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    and not evolve anymore...
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    anyway though
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
How probable is it that sexual reproduction started out of nowhere? It seems so unlikely even considering there were so many organisms replicating to have started about by chance. In the most probable scenario, one organism would have to have produced both male and female offspring at about the same time and it is too hard to imagine this happening by mere chance.
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    I mean
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    seriously..
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Pretty impossible
    Dylan says:
    hmm
    Dylan says:
just one more thing we don't know yet
    Dylan says:
somewhere along the line i guess some mutation in bacteria occured
    Dylan says:
    that compromised asexual reproduction
    Dylan says:
idk im not much of an evolutionist
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    And...
    Dylan says:
im more of a philosophical debater
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    hahah
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Kina strange
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
Im backing up what i say with science
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:

    Dylan says:
science is best refuted with other science
    Dylan says:
i cant really refute science with philosophical speculation can i?
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    Nope, you can't.
    Dylan says:
as I said, I'll just stick with basic natural selection
    Dylan says:

    Dylan says:
    its enough for me
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    hahh
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
natural selection means things slim out
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
not evolve into millions of species
Slaveofthebeast | Pending offical MM says:
    =]

Lol I would have to say I got beat since my expertise in evolution is little to non-existent. :p

The type of God described was a Pantheistic one, which is saying that everything is God, i.e. all of nature, you, me, etc. Some Atheists think that way, I don't really though.

I don't think this forum is meant for discussing who won a debate.

P.S. Aethism isn't a religion, and not all athiests believe in a non-supernatural god.

P.P.S. If us being created is so improbably that makes god just as improbable as we are, if not more.

P.P.P.S. Slave, you need to look into prokaryotes, and eukaryotic cells if you want to understand where sexual reproduction came from. Evolution has so much evidance behind it that you cannot expect it to be explained fully without taking a second year university course.
