my java wont work for runescape or any other games with java

ok one day i was playing runescape and a little pop-up in the right bottom corner said to update my java from 5.0 to 6.0. It automatically restarted my computer and i went back to play runescape when i clicked on a world(tried many btw) it gave me a black screen not a gray box or a white box with and "x" just a large black screen when i clicken on the runescape page in the center at the top it said not responding and it had a white little box where the internet explorer icon is. I removed it from my comp went to the java site and dowlaoded the newest software again(i have done this about 6-7 times) and it still didnt work. I tried other games and they dont work(the ones with java) so i went to the java tech support and i opened the page and it gave me the same black screen and the "not responding" bs because it uses...thats right java. I have tried to remove my firewall didnt work tried my security options didnt work.

If your woundering how im on forums cause u need java to log in its because i have 2 computers but this one is a 98 w/e and its very slow my other computer is a new laptop.

Please help me it would be very nice

uninstall java and restart ur computer and tha go on runescape and see what it says

 

i Suggest just Install the latest version
www.java.com

Or just Go on You're Brother/sisters User and Play it on there ,It makes you do the stuf you did when first running runescape

 

Did you install the Active X's that pop up?
