Banned Accounts MiniRanks Discussion/Suggestions

All banned accounts should lose their MiniRanks and then they could be used to Giveaways or to be resold and the money given directly to @Sythe himself or any one involved in the Supporting Jon Campaigns.

I Think it's good in 2 ways, Gives legitimate members a chance to win a "rare" MiniRank failing that, Gives the opportunity for new members to be able to buy a nice one they see and not have to worry about the prices being manipulated if it's run by an Admin or someone they have given permission to,

this is just very briefly what I've come up with on this solution, give me time and if someone would like to quote this with add-ons this would/could go into operation, in my opinion.

DNT & Miniranks

How about; for those members who are DNT and re-owe money to someone //'unpaid debts' . We sell their miniranks for what ever cost, re-pay their scam/repayment victims. Maybe this will be the incentive to get their lazy backsides to refund their victims? Because apparently having DNT keep their miniranks is an incentive for them to stay. Maybe we should use this as a method to repay their victims.

Downsides; a lot of DNT may not care for their miniranks. Costs of miniranks have devalued. The idea that letting DNT(who owe victims) keep their miniranks is apparently an incentive to stay on the forums.

Your idea is not bad, but I don't agree that miniranks should be used to giveaway, or resold so "normal members" can get a fancy rare one. No, if any money is collected from any minirank; payment directly for the victims who is owed. So dependent on each DNT(who reowes) their miniranks cost to the victim.

Or the minirank is given to the victim, a far value price deducted from the amount owed by a DNT.

Curious if any victims would care for something like this? @Time To Buy

Though you'd have to take in account That people can pardon, maybe they've spent money on their miniranks and get unbanned a year or so later to find out they don't have them anymore.

You don't know how people got in certain situations and you shouldn't be judging them based on that and saying "they shouldn't have gotten in that situation".
Though If they aren't trying to pay back at all then maybe as a last resort it could be a small help to sell those and pay the victims.

To an extent i agree, if they are paying back and have given proof of them doing so, then yes i would agree fully, Most of the time MiniRanks have nowhere near the value of the amount owed to a victim in most cases.

As i said above Mini's usually come nowhere close to amounts that need to be paid in some cases.

Of course i didnt mean, No don't give them the mini's i simply ment give them to them but that's not gonna cover 'x' amount of debt that needs to be paid, most of them bans are for $500+

 

donors who usually scam do a thing called "scam quitting" and they've donated to sythe/this organisation, that had nothing to do with the scammer/victim sadly, Good idea imo though. if it were possible.

Yes and then it's Given to Sythe as upkeep for the site or new things, many differnt reasons but not for the one we're discussing atm maybe @Sythe chould clear this up for us?

 

The idea of selling their miniranks as a way to pay back the victims that they've scammed is good but they should still have to go through the full pardon process.

The miniranks are useless to them anyway, if they were to sell it and full pay off their debt. And they do end up coming back, there's no guarantee that they won't scam again. I think scammers should always have a "trade with caution" rank that's linked with their TWC case.
