INTRODUCTION:


Hello everyone my name is Brian, i am here to educate about the most common online dangers and how to prevent theses...




When i say online dangers i am talking about (Viruses, Spy-ware, Trojans, Ect.)



Now let me get to the point. You are always vulnerable to dangers like I have mentioned above when being online, prevention is the most you can do to stop these threats.



Firstly I recommend you have protection software installed on your computer
to prevent you from viruses, spy-ware and such.


Alot of company's offer free software to prevent these online disasters.

TROJANS, KEYLOGGERS, SCRIPT KITTIES:



Now that you are aware that you need certain software to stay protected, you will also need to avoid certain files which contain things called

(trojans, keyloggers, rats)​

If your virus protection software is up-2-date then most of the time it will detect theses threats.




Alot of the times scammers try getting on forums much like theses and try to offer there so called "stat editing" software.

Be aware that there is no such things as "runescape stat editors".

Usually when you see people offering programs like that are not legit, in fact they might even be:

l33t haxors (Script Kitties)






Trojans, keyloggers & rats are special types of programs and viruses that secretly get into other peoples computers without the user knowing about it.

Once they have entered your computer, people then could see everything you type and do...


You have better chances of preventing theses noobs by not accepting files from ANYONE on the net.

This includes email attachments, pictures, music, video and anything in that order.


That pretty much concludes what i have to say about that, lets move on...

KEEPING UPDATED:


Its very important that you update your protection software at least once a week, and if your using windows keep that updated weekly as well...
