It is neither flaming or hijacking- it is informing players to not buy from you because they can get it for cheaper.

By the way, you are merchanting, if you weren't you'd sell the bow for exactly 1gp-4M- nothing over 4M. You obviously want OVER 4M meaning you want a profit (merchanting).
