One question to stump you all.

Who created God - if you don't believe in a god then who created the first gasses to create organisms that would then go onto evolution etc.

If God has always existed which I'm expecting some annoying person to say then when was his first day? If he lives in a dimension out of time then who created the dimension.

Answer me that, you can't, it's impossible to come up with a solution for either of them, which is why I somewhat fail to see the point of religion or evolution it can't make sense, ever.

 

This is an impossible question to answerer.

The gasses themselves were created by chemical reactions. If you're asking how the elements for the reaction got there, nuclear fission I'm pretty sure. Now if the bigger question you're getting at is how did everything get here, for future reference in all these religion based threads, NO ONE FUCKING KNOWS! But just because we don't know yet doesn't mean that every concept about the world is meaningless until we do. Evolution doesn't focus on how the living beings got here, it focuses on how they went from simple organisms to very complex ones over periods of millions of years.

 

Very true, it's definitely impossible to solve... But just and FYI, Christians believe that God has always been and always will be. There was never a beginning and never and end.. It's a hard concept to grasp...

 

Im christian and it is a very hard concept for me even to grasp even though I am christian. I believe that God is there and his son died for my sins and all. But, Its very confusing just to believe that he was JUST THERE from the beginning of time. The whole chemical reaction crap makes no since either. If the whole chemical reaction thing was true. Who was there to create the chemical reactions eh?

 

I called a radio show and asked, the pastor john counsell said that god was created by angels as stated in some scripture in the bible

 

......ok so god is all powerful so there wasnt a first day. There isnt a dimension, god lives outside of time. he created the world now he chills outside of time and space, he is all powerful so he doesnt need to live in a dimension. So as we all know gasses/bacteria cant just have always been there, so if theyre wasnt any god or any bacteria or gasses that created the world the world wouldnt exist right? well it does so there must be an all omnipitant God.....

Since there is no time, time travel will be impossible or would be very risky to take, because if you could somehow go back in "time" there would be no way to go to any particular point in time.
