Well I dont know much about "camtasio studio" but try reinstalling it. I can help you with Windows movie maker.

First check if you have all of windows updates. By going here with InternetExploer:http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

If windows movie maker still dosent work after you have all the updates then do this...

|Start|Control Panel|Add and Remove Programs|Add and Remove Windows Components (located on the left side)|

Now there should be a box that says something like "Windows movie maker" uncheck the box and click next. This will uninstall it.

Now do the same thing but make sure the box is checked and it will install again. Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

Make sure your mic is set up correctly with the camtasia studio, go into the settings.

 

what do you mean mic i mean the rs vids and shit

and for the windows components theres no windows movie maker just windows media player and some other stuff
