DNT & Miniranks

We're adding a lot of extra work for the admins to remove the rights to people that were previously banned. I believe that they still have the ability to be pardoned in Sythe's pardoning system, that removing mini-ranks is pointless.

Unless I'm missing something, the only important aspects should be having them removed from the market and hold one rank that says they're not supposed to be trading with users.

Taking away everything else is just adding extra work. At that point, just setup a system to have them create brand new accounts with the DNT rank that links to their previous account or an explanation on why they're not supposed to trade.

 

I 100% disagree with this post. I believe they should still be able to earn ranks through CDT events and giveaways etc. because that would be more encouraging to re-integrate said user with the website. As far as making funds to repay scam victims - Sythe.org hasn't done that as far as I'm aware and starting now could be a risky thing - what's to say that X mod doesn't scamquit and profit even more than $2k by having that bonus stacked up? This -could- only be done if the user was banned for scamming and if the victim is "still alive." That also has an issue in the case of multiple scam victims.

I don't mind them being blocked from view - as long as -I- know that I have that Blue Turtle saved up for later. There are two sides to the coin, and you don't want to completely outcast someone if you're expecting to receive something from them.

Because I don't have many Miniranks.

 

All banned accounts should lose their MiniRanks and then they could be used to Giveaways or to be resold and the money given directly to @Sythe himself or any one involved in the Supporting Jon Campaigns.

I Think it's good in 2 ways, Gives legitimate members a chance to win a "rare" MiniRank failing that Gives the opportunity for new members to be able to buy a nice one they see and not have to worry about the prices being manipulated if it's run by an Admin or someone they have given permission to,

this is just very briefly what I've come up with on this solution, give me time and if someone would like to quote this with add-ons this would/could go into operation, in my opinion.
